教学反思:
这节课的教学对象是采荷中学八年级14班的全体学生。教材文本是来自牛津的《English Explorer》。通过这节课的教学,我觉得有成功之处,也有很多值得在课后深思的地方。
成功之处:
1. 这节课的主要内容是对词汇进行导入,能让学生较好的去掌握和应用这些词汇。通过引入和各种活动的处理,学生对于这些单词的掌握还算可以。能较好的完成各类任务,并把目标词汇用进去。能较好的掌握apartment, ranch house , row house, cottage之间的区别。并在dream house 活动中有较好的输出。对于best seller 这个环节中学生不仅能表达,并能积极的参与讨论和讲述自己的理由。最后这首与他们有关的小诗,学生们也表现较高的热情。
2. 在教查字典环节中我发现学生对于表述词性的词如adverb,noun等词不是非常了解,同时对于英英字典也感觉比较陌生,通过这节课让学生对于查字典这个方法有了一个初步的了解。整节课感觉还算比较流畅。
不足之处:
1. 在教新词汇中没有很好的用到词汇教学的方法,显得方法比较单一,学生从词汇学习的技能上没能得到很好的提高。
2. 新单词的读音和拼写教授笔墨还是偏少,更多的强调了单词的意思。
3. 在活动设计中,讲解四种不同房型的区别时,自己讲的过多,没有让学生去很好的思考他们之间的区别,如果能通过学生的讨论思考找到他们之间的区别就更好了。但是我更多的让学生根据我的预设来得到我所要的东西。在这个环节中我应该给出其中一个房型的优缺点,让学生根据这个例子自己去得出其他房型的优缺点,这样出来的信息才真是属于学生的。并且有利于学生在下面活动中更好的应用这些信息。
4. 在词汇搭配中,可能是由于图片不够清晰,也可能是我对单词的导入不够充分,学生花了较长时间才完成这个原本应该是很简单环节。原本我可以采用图片分步出来的形式让学生更容易完成这个步骤。甚至我可以用其他较明显清晰的图片,让学生根据这些图片来讲出单词,同时检测学生是否能很好的对这些单词进行准确发音。
5. 对于课的时间把握不够,本来后面想呈现的有关home的谚语没有时间进行呈现。这些谚语是写在seller 环节中所发的卡片的背面。
6. 整节课我的讲还是过多,剥夺了学生自主思考的权利。
一节课老师自己的预想与最后的实际总会有所差别,因此我们以后上课应更多的从学生角度出发,而不是一厢情愿的把我们自己的设想强加给学生。

一.教材内容分析
文本以家与房子为话题,介绍了农场庄园,排屋,顶楼,小农舍等各种类型房子的特点。通过谈论各自喜爱的房子,并让学生设置自己的理想房子等一系列的个人与小组活动,让学生放飞理想,敢于表达自己的喜好。教育学生一切的成功都必须通过个人的努力,同时告知学生无论自己喜爱的哪种房子都不能代表是自己想要的一个温馨甜美的家园。

Step 1 Warming up
1、Listen to a song called “Country road take me home”.
设计说明:通过听Country road take me home这首歌,引出本课的主题,homes and houses.
Step 2 Presentation of new words
1.Show a picture of a tall building and ask where my home is. Then say: I live in this building. Then present new words of penthouse and apartment., then present another picture of a ranch house, ask: Is it an apartment? Then teach ranch house, driveway and basement.
设计说明:通过呈现自己住的building,引出顶楼和公寓两个生词。通过呈现农场庄园,呈现车道与地下室两词。在引这些词汇前,都先给学生看音标,让学生先拼读。
Step 3 Look up new words in a dictionary.
Teacher say: I would like to live in such a ranch house, I want to have a better life. I searched the Internet and found lots of advertisements on different kinds of houses. Then present an advertisment about the cottage. Present four new words( fence, gate, yard, garage) in the advertisement.

Step 4 Consolidation of new words
1. Present another advertisement of row houses, and get the Ss fill in the blanks with the words learnt. (basement, yard, driveway, garage, fence…)
设计说明:词汇的学习是个感知,理解与运用的过程,通过另一则排屋的广告,让学生用生词填写,使学生在理解的基础上学会运用,达到学以致用的目的。
2 Get the Ss match the words with the pictures.

3 Eye challenge
设计说明:在看谁的眼力最好这一游戏中,教师以多种形式呈现生词,如图片,音标,英文释义等,让学生迅速说出单词又一次让学生在玩中学,巩固了生词。

Let's go to buy the house.One of you will be a house seller, your partner will be a customer. Make a conversation (对话)like the following.
House seller: Hello. Can I help you?
Customer: Yes, please. I’d like to buy a house. What kind of house do you have?

教后反思:
本单元以词汇学习为主,所有的内容以及练习都是围绕homes and houses这一话题展开的。在备课过程中,我将学生能够掌握各种房子的词汇以及表达自己的喜好作为教学重点。把学生能够运用所学习的词汇汇报自己理想的房子作为教学难点。在整个教学过程中,任务型教学贯穿于始终。任务的设置由浅入深,由易到难,分层次进行,从而激发各个层次的学生积极参与课堂,充分调动学生学习英语的主动性与积极性,培养学生进行交际的能力。
通过教学本课,本人对各个设计环节作出了以下的反思:
通过一首歌曲引出home这个话题,马上切入主题,引出了关于house的相关词汇(apartment, penthouse, ranch house, basement, driveway)在这个环节学生比较专注,导生词时,我用了先出示音标的方法,慢慢引导学生先会读,然后再出示单词的拼法,学生反应积极,达到了预期的效果。
在学习了几个关于房子的词汇后,我又谈到自己想买房子,通过查找网络卖房子广告引出一则广告。通过图片学习新词: fence, gate. 然后让学生查找词典,查出另外两个单词的意思,词性,以及用法。 通过此环节,教会学生如何使用字典查找单词的技能,并能判断一词在不同语境下的不同意思。在具体的操作过程中,发现学生对如何使用字典、查找生词并不陌生,这个环节的处理比预计的要快。在处理生词的一词多义,在不同的语境中选择相应的意思这一环节时,学生在教师的步步引导下,表现得比较感兴趣,效果明显。、
在词汇巩固过程中,我采用了多种方法,看图匹配,单词竞赛等,在这一词汇输出的过程中,我还采用了男女生爬山竞赛活动,在这一环节学生很快地进入了角色,大部分同学已经可以准确地读生词,并且在理解的基础上也学会了使用,达到了学以致用的目的。
在单词掌握的基础上,进一步让学生将单词运用到句子中,操练对话。操练过程中,学生很乐于表达,见学生能力已超出了我的预计,我又让学生说出了喜欢与不喜欢居住的原因。在这一过程中,学生各抒己见,热情高涨,课堂气氛很活跃,充分体现了人人参与课堂的原则。
在学生汇报各自理想的房子这一环节,学生已经完全投入了课堂,大胆积极地上讲台前汇报,其他同学也积极地位汇报者鼓掌,学生的参与和投入程度已经超出了老师的预设。学生通过小组合作,最后用所学习的词汇形成文章,真正达到了学以致用的交际功能。
五、本课我没有布置学生写的作业,而是让学生查找资料然后谈论自己喜爱的明星的房子。将课堂中的任务延伸于课堂之外,布置学生查找自己感兴趣的明星的房子,让学生在乐学愿学的气氛中完成任务。
本节课各个任务环节设置地层层递进,逐步深入。每个活动的设置都围绕着本课的词汇展开。通过一个个任务的顺利完成,在语言交际,学习兴趣,参与意识,团队意识等方面学生都有不同程度地提高。整节课在老师的引导下,学生慢慢投入课堂,从刚开始的有点胆怯到最后的大胆语言输出,学生真正成了课堂的主人,他们理所当然有了不同寻常的收获。
当然本节课还有一些方面有待提高,1. 在引出home 后,板书可以是以home作为中心词的词汇开花形式,更能突出本课中心 2. 最后在学生汇报结束自己理想的房子后,教师可以将房子上升到家这个情感教育概念层次上,教育学生East, west ,home is the best. 无论自己喜爱的哪种房子都不能代表是自己想要的一个温馨甜美的家园。要有更好的生活,就应该先有个更甜美的家。这些细节之处,是我以后教学中应该改进之处。
