语法讲解情态动词could的用法提出礼貌的要求考点 1句型：Could you （please） do ...？意为“麻烦你……
好吗？”或“请你……行吗？”。
eg：Li Lei， could you please help me？
李雷，请你帮我个忙好吗？
—Could you come here soon？
你尽快过来，行吗？
—Sure.当然可以。—Could you please close the window？
请你关上窗户好吗？
—I’m afraid not.恐怕不行。其否定结构为：Could you（please） not do...？【注意】 表示请求许可考点 2（1）句型：Could I ...？意为“我可以……吗？”。
eg：Could I come in？我可以进来吗？
（2）另外，用Could I ...？时，表示请求对方准许，
对方回答时不能用could，而要用can。
eg：—Could I use your bicycle？
我可以用你的自行车吗？
—Yes， you can.是的，可以。 对于这种请求的肯定和否定回答的常用语

（2）pass通过（考试、检查等），其反义词 为fail
（不及格）。

（3）pass＝go by（时间）过去
eg：A year passed quickly.一年很快过去了。
（4）pass away去世拓展 borrow/'b?r??/ v.借，借用知识点【辨析】borrow与 lend考向3 keep也可表示“借”，是延续性动词，常与一段时间连用，表示“借用多长时间”。而borrow和lend是非延续性动词，不能与一段时间连用。
