(2).能够熟练运用What kind of cake would you like? I'd like a chocolate cake．What shape would you like? I'd like that heart-shape cake．Can I have some ice cream and jelly, please?等句型。
2.能力目标：
能够运用所学语言进行情景对话，学会如何安排自己的生日聚会。
3.情感目标：
教育学生学会与别人一起分享的意识，培养学生礼貌待人的品质，培养学生学习英语的热情。

多媒体教学课件，各中形状蛋糕、巧克力、果冻图片，各种形状的卡片。

师生问候.Hello, boys and girls. How are you today? Who’s on duty today?
PPT2. Let’s sing: 《Happy birthday to you!》
Step2.Revision
PPT3-6 复习已学过的邀请朋友过生日的句型。
Step3.presentation and practice
PPT7 出示各种形状的卡片
The teacher asks: What's this? Can you say it in Chinese?
Ss:心形，花朵形，正方形，圆形，长方形，五角星……
After Ss answer, T asks: Can you say it in English?
Now let’s learn them together.
PPT8-12 出示各种形状的生日蛋糕。学习新词语。
a star-shaped cake, a round cake, a square cake, a heart-shaped cake, a flower-shaped cake.
PPT13 出示各种种类的生日蛋糕。
chocolate cake， ice cream cake， fruit cake ，milk cake

PPT16 模仿去蛋糕店买蛋糕的情景，用英语表达买蛋糕。
PPT17 展示一个心形蛋糕，并展示句子：

ice cream, jelly, some candy and fruit pies .教师领读词语。

PPT 21播放课本动画，学生初步认识课文。
PPT 22.回答前面的问题：

再次播放课本动画，学生跟读，多播放几遍，保证学生能读得顺利。
