Step1.Warm-up
Teaching aims:
(1)能听懂、会读、会说和会写单词:habit, never, late, finish, fast, always。
(2)能听懂、会读、会说单词和词组:tidy, bad, sleepy, bedtime, put … in order,
last night, go into。
(3)能听懂、会读、会说和会写句子: He gets up early in the morning.
He never goes to bed late. He also does well at home.
Step2 Presentation
Look and say
呈现课文中出现的图片,新授词组和句型:
(1)get up early
He gets up early in the morning.
(2)brush his teeth
He brushes his teeth in the morning and before bedtime.
Teach: before bedtime 在睡觉前
(3)go to bed early
He never goes to bed late.
Teach: never 从不, late 迟,晚
(4)put things in order
He always puts his things in order.
Teach: put … in order 把……整理得井井有条
(5)finish his homework
He usually finishes his homework before dinner.
Teach: finish 完成
(6)clean and tidy
He keeps his room clean and tidy.
Teach: tidy 干净的,整齐的
(7)messy and dirty
He keeps his room messy and dirty.
(8)do homework late
He often does his homework late at night.
(9)go to bed late
He does not go to bed early.
(10)feel sleepy
He sometimes feels sleepy in the morning.
Teach: sleepy困的,困倦的
Watch and answer
观看视频动画回答问题:Is Liu Tao sleepy today?
Answer: Yes.
接着提问:What should he do ?
可以先让学生自由发挥这个问题的答案,再呈现课文中最后一幅图及对话内容,
并新授:last night 昨夜,
接着画出所提问题的关键句:You shouldn’t go to bed late, Liu Tao.
并呈现You should go to bed early.
