have 与学科名称搭配,表示“上某一学科的课”。

“have” 在第五单元中有“拥有;有”的用法,其还可以与其他名词搭配,表示不同含义。例如:
have a class/lesson 上课
have breakfast/lunch/dinner 吃早/中/晚饭

(3) Because the next day is Saturday!
the next day表示“接下来的那一天;紧挨着的那天”,相当于汉语中的“第二天”。
例如:

四、【教后反思】
本节课的重点内容是询问和回答自己最喜欢的课程,以及喜欢的原因。学生在小学学过一些课程的表达方式,但是有一些单词他们记忆的不太牢固了,比如,science, computer等。对于why提问原因和because回答原因,有部分同学不太会用,应该加强练习。

1) What’s your favorite subject?
你最喜爱的科目是什么?
(1) favorite做形容词时, 意为“最喜爱的”。
如: What’s your favorite color?

(2) favorite也可以做名词, 意为“最喜爱的人/物”。
如: Ice cream is my favorite.

favorite可与“like ... best”结构互换使用。

2) 如何询问 “爱好和原因”?
What’s +主语 (his/her/your…)+favorite …?
Why + do (does) +主语 + 动词原形+宾语?

why引导的疑问句回答中应注意的问题:
注: why引导的疑问句是对原因的提问,是“为什么”的意

(1) Play the PPT showing a picture of the week to teach the new words.

Ss: The first day of the week is Sunday. The second day of the week is Monday. The third day of the week is Tuesday. The fourth day of the week is Wednesday. The fifth day of the week is Thursday. The sixth day of the week is Friday. The seventh day of the week is Saturday.
(2) Play the PPT showing some pictures to teach the new adjectives: free and cool.
T: Please look at the picture. (Show a picture of someone who is lying on the beach to rest.) We can say he is free. (Write the word “free” on the blackboard.)

Then show a very cool boy with nice clothes. Then, teach the word “cool” in the same way.
(3) T: Let’s work on 1a. Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right.
Ask a student to check the answers.
Ss read the words after the teacher, and then try to remember the words.

2. Listening practice (1b-1c).
(1) Ask Ss to read the words in 1a.

本节课通过互相询问和谈论彼此所喜欢的学科以及彼此理想的课程安排,增进了学生之间的了解和友情,培养了学生热爱学习和生活的良好习惯。
教学中通过指导学生听-讨论-思考,再听-再讨论-再思考,引导学生正确地使用指示语完成对话。
在学习了表示学科的名词之后,教师可以组织学生给自己和班上制作一个英文课程表,不但可以丰富学习生活,美化教室环境,二来可以巩固所学的词汇。
