教学流程：
Step 1 Warming up and Revision
1. Greetings.
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hi, Mr. Chen!
T: How are you?
Ss: I’m fine. And you?
T: I’m fine, too. Thanks!
2. Revision.
T: Boys and girls, when you see the word, say out its past tense. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s go.
教师利用PPT2引导学生复习学过的动词的过去式。
Step 2 Presentation and Practice
1. 出示课文插图，介绍人物。Q1: What can you see in the picture? Q2: Who are they?
2. 看动画，回答问题：What are they going to write?
学生看动画后回答问题。
3. PPT5-PPT6解读文本，突破重难点。如介绍新词汇card，如何写圣诞卡和区分一般现在时、一般过去时和一般将来时这三种时态的具体用法。
4 PPT7 Read and answer
学生再次阅读课文，根据课文内容，教师提问Who does Li Ming want to send a card to? What does Jing like?
5.讲解课文中学生应了解的词语及词组：with “有”
get ready for为……做准备
6.PPT10-PPT11教师提问What did Li Ming do yesterday? 引出一般过去时
What are they going to do tomorrow? 引出一般将来时
7. PPT12讲解写圣诞贺卡的格式
8. 出示 PPT13听录音，跟读。
9. 出示PP14齐读文章。
10. PPT15 Role play角色扮演。
Step 3 Consolidation
1. 快速读句子，巩固所学内容。
2. Let’s sing.
教师播放歌曲动画，师生学唱歌曲 “We wish you a Merry Christmas”。
Step 4 Extension
1. Make and write a Christmas card。注意格式。
2. 做相应的练习。
Step 5 Summary
根据板书总结今天所学内容。
Step 6 Homework
模仿课文录音三次。
制作一张圣诞卡。
