Step 1 Warming up and Revision
1. Greetings.
T: Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Mr. Chen!
T: How are you?
Ss: I’m fine. And you?
T: I’m fine, too. Thanks!
2. Sing a song.
T: Boys and girls, do you like songs?
Ss: Yes.
T: Now let’s enjoy a song together.
教师播放歌曲“We wish you a Merry Christmas.”,师生一起演唱歌曲。
T:You all did a good job.
3. Look and say.
T: Boys and girls, let’s have a revision about Christmas. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s go.
教师利用PPT引导学生以头脑风暴的形式用英语说出自己知道的有关圣诞节知识,再次复习本单元学习的知识。(PPT3-7)
Step 2 Presentation and Practice
1. 出示课文插图,描述图片内容。What can you see in the picture?
学生尽量用英语描述图片内容。
2. 看动画,回答问题:Q1: Where is Li Ming? Q2: What do they do on Christmas morning?
学生看动画后回答问题。

Ss: He is at Jenny’s home.

讲解open作为动词和形容词的用法。(PPT9)
3. 解读文本,突破重难点。结合图片,逐一讲解新词和重点句型。PPT10-17。
A.PPT 10 讲解一般过去时的一般疑问句用法,及答语,并举例说明。
B.PPT 11讲解little和句型I think so. I don’ think so.的用法。
C.PPT 12 讲解bring的用法: bring … to …(给……带来……),并举例说明。
D.PPT 14 讲解send的用法:send … to …(送、寄……给……),并举例说明。
E.PPT 15 讲解send的用法:give … to …(把……给……),并举例说明。
F.PPT 17 讲解ask的用法:ask… to (do)…(叫、请求……(做)……),并举例说明。
4. 听录音,跟读。为学生提供纯正的原音输入。教师在难句时可点击喇叭重读多次,方便纠正学生的英语发音。
