Unit 4 How’s the weather today?

教学目标：1.学生知道怎样用英语描述天气。句型：How’s the weather today? It’s sunny. It’s cloudy.
2.学生能在生活实际情景中灵活运用这些功能语句进行交流：How’s the weather today? It’s sunny. It’s cloudy.
教学重点：掌握以下句型：

It’s sunny.
It’s cloudy.
教学难点：1.学生知道怎样在实际生活中运用今天所学句型。

2. 掌握四会单词sunny 和cloudy.
3. Shall we …? 的巩固。
教学准备：歌曲、卡片、PPT课件和头饰.
教学流程：
Step1 Warm up
a. Greeting
b.师生make a chant
师生同chant 上节课结束前的chant，通过这个chant，学生的学习兴趣提升了，而且在上一节课唱过的基础上更加熟悉这首chant，也比之前顺口多了，复习了学过的描述天气的单词，为营造良好的学习气氛做好准备。
c. T: Well done. （T 评价学生chant得好）
Step2 Presentation.
a. Look and say （PPT出示冷的图片）
1. Boys and girls. Look, How’s the weather today?(教师 接着利用PPT出示疑问句子帮助学生猜测，T: Is it hot? Ss:
T: Is it cold? Ss: Yes.
T: Yes, it’s cold today.
2. 教师接着出示一个hot 的图片问： Look! Is it cool? Is it hot?
3. 教师以同样的方式出示warm的图片，讲完后点赞一下学生做得好。
b.教师出示sunny 的图片问学生: T: Is it cold? Ss: No. 教师接着出示cloudy 的图片问： T: Is it cool? Ss: No. T: But, how’s the weather like? 出示问号。
c. 教师出示本课read and say的图片，说Mimi 知道，教师充当Mimi先解决新词的初步学习，接着让学生充当Mimi 进行描述天气。
d.教师接着出示talk的对话图片。让学生根据图片说说 Where are they? What are they doing?
e. 播放视频：让学生了解对话的大致内容，再次确认学生的答案是否猜测正确。
f. 跟读课文
教师播放课文录音跟读，可采用断句或者听完再全部重复的方法。教师板书或者口头点出本课的的重点句型的问答的意思。
g. 挖空听音填句子。教师让学生听音或者看视频，然后把句子写下来在练习本上。接着check。
Step3 Practice
a. group work
让学生整体读一遍后。师生角色扮演做示范，接着分2人小组进行对话的练习，时间到后上台展示。
b. 教师出示五幅天气的图片，让学生进行pair work，巩固本课的重点和难点知识。
c. Let’s follow
快速出现句子，让学生读出来后进行巩固。
d. Let’s sing ： We are happy to play
(教师出示PPT,先让学生看看歌曲的题目，猜猜他们会唱些什么。教师播放歌曲的视频，接着学生跟着老师唱一遍，接着师生同唱歌曲，最后教师可让学生齐唱或者分组唱歌 。
e. 学生上台表演节目，师生做好评价工作。
f. 三道练习巩固
通过练习让学生熟悉复习学过的天气的句型的问答，也是为接下来的拓展环节做好准备。
Step 4 Production
拓展： 一起去公园
教师让学生分四人小组进行去公园玩的活动，在开始之前可以先谈谈学生喜欢什么时候去公园，遇到什么样的天气要及时回家？接着要求学生在给定的对话模式进行问答。也可师生先做一小节的示范。请学生上台表演，学生和教师一起评价。
Step 5 Summary
总结今天所学的句型及单词。
How’s the weather today?
It’s sunny.
It’s cloudy.
Step 6 Homework
1.Read and imitate the dialogue three times.
2.Make dialogues by using new words and new sentences with your partners.
