Unit 4 How’s the weather today?

教学目标：1.学生知道怎样用英语描述天气。句型：How’s the weather today? It’s rainy/windy/snowy.
2.学生能在生活实际情景中灵活运用这些功能语句进行交流：How’s the weather today? It’s rainy/windy/snowy.
教学重点：掌握以下句型：
How’s the weather today?
It’s rainy/windy/snowy.
教学难点：1.学生知道怎样在实际生活中运用今天所学句型。

2. 掌握四会单词windy, rainy和 snowy.
3. Put on your … 的运用。
教学准备：歌曲、卡片、天气预报图及标志贴贴、PPT课件和头饰.
教学流程：
Step1 Warm up
a. Greeting
b.师生sing a song ：We are happy today
师生同唱上节课的歌曲，通过这个歌曲，学生的学习兴趣提升了，而且在上一节课唱过的基础上更加熟悉这首歌曲，也比之前顺口多了，复习了学过的描述天气的单词sunny，为营造良好的学习气氛做好准备。
c. T: Wonderful! （T 评价学生唱得好）
Step2 Presentation.
a. Look and say （PPT出示sunny的图片）
1. Boys and girls. Look, How’s the weather today?(教师接着利用PPT出示疑问句子帮助学生猜测，T: Is it cold? Ss:
T: Is it sunny? Ss: Yes.
T: Yes, it’s sunny today.
2. 教师接着出示一个cloudy 的图片问： Look! Is it warm? Is it cloudy?
3.教师继续出示另一个多云的天气，转一下方式问道： How’s the weather today? 学生回答，教师评价及重温上节课的重点单词的意思，问句也得到训练，接着出示sunny的图片以同样的方式处理，讲完后点赞一下学生做得好。
b.教师出示rainy 的图片问学生: How’s the weather today? Ss: … 教师接着出示windy 的图片(用红外线笔)指着问： T: How’s the weather today? Ss: ... T: You may don’t know. 出示问号。
c. 教师出示本课read and say的图片，说Mimi 知道，教师充当Mimi先解决新词的初步学习，接着让学生充当Mimi 进行描述天气。教师教学四会单词，板书四线格。通过分组等形式进行词汇操练。
d.教师接着出示talk的对话图片。让学生根据图片说说 Where are they? What are they talking about?
e. 播放音频：让学生听音了解对话的大致内容，再次确认学生的答案是否猜测正确。
f. 跟读课文
教师播放课文录音跟读，可采用断句或者听完再全部重复的方法。教师板书或者口头点出本课的的重点句型的问答的意思。
g. 挖空听音填句子。教师让学生听音，然后把句子写下来在练习本上。接着check。
Step3 Practice
a. group work
让学生整体读一遍后。师生角色扮演做示范，接着分2人小组进行对话的练习，时间到后上台展示。
b. 教师出示五幅天气的图片，让学生进行pair work，巩固本课的重点和难点知识。
c. Let’s follow
快速出现句子，让学生读出来后进行巩固。
d. Let’s play
(教师出示PPT,先让学生观察图片，猜猜他们会说些什么。教师播放play的视频，接着学生跟着老师扮演一遍，接着给时间学生分组练习，教师指导 。
e. 学生上台表演节目，师生做好评价工作。
f. 三道练习巩固
通过练习让学生熟悉复习学过的天气的句型的问答，也是为接下来的拓展环节做好准备。
练习可以这样开展：让一个学生先站在讲台上对着学生，不给看屏幕，教师出示PPT rainy的图片，学生齐问上来的学生： How’s the weather today? 上台的学生猜测。接着教师出示答案，让全班一起读读句子。
Step 4 Production
拓展： 我是天气预报员
教师通过PPT展示一幅中国地图，教师要求学生四人小组合作，用自己的地图和天气贴贴纸把自己想播报的城市贴上天气，接着按照给定的播报形式进行播报。也可师生先做一小节的示范。请学生上台表演，学生和教师一起评价。
Step 5 Summary
总结今天所学的句型及单词。
How’s the weather today?
It’s windy/rainy/snowy.
Step 6 Homework
1.Read and imitate the dialogue three times.
2. Role play the dialogue with your partners.
