【教学目标】
1.能够读懂李明的家谱图和对其的一段英文解释。
2.能够用英语介绍自己的家庭成员。
3.能熟练说出家庭成员的称呼：father，mother，grandfather，grandmother，brother，parent，uncle，aunt，cousin.
【教学重、难点分析】
重点：学会并运用：father，mother，grandfather，grandmother，brother，sister，uncle，parent，aunt，cousin称呼家庭成员，特别注意中英文称呼的差异。
难点：1.实义动词have、has在一般现在时中的正确使用。
2.grandfather，grandmother的正确发音。
【教学准备】
多媒体课件，单词卡片、教师自己的全家福照片。
【教学方法】
多媒体教学法，讲授法，小组合作学习法。
【教学步骤和建议】
（一）Warming-up
1.师生问好：Hello，boys and girls. Happy to see you. Welcome back to school! You are in Grade 5 now. That’s exciting!
2.开始上课，用汉语对话谈论新学期，告诉学生们这学期我们将要认识李明的家庭成员；了解不同国家的语言，首都、以及著名的风景点；和李明一起制订旅行计划；了解中西方节日的差异。
3.PPT2
一起唱“Family song”来引出本课要讲的内容。
（设计思路：以此来活跃课堂气氛，进行本课学习。）
4.活动：老师介绍自己的家庭。
教师拿出自己的全家福，指着照片说：This is a photo of my family.因为学生以前已经学过family这个单词，所以可以理解这句话的意思。由此引出家庭成员的单词。
（二）Presentation
1.PPT3-PPT9教授本课关于家庭成员的单词。
（1）教师出示PPT3-PPT4，指着男子和女子的图片，教授father；mother；
（2）教师出示PPT5，用动画演示，让学生理解parent的含义；
（3）教师出示PPT6，教授grandfather，grandmother，并且解释这两个词的意思：They are father’s/mother’s parents.
（4）教师出示PPT7-PPT8，教授brother，sister；
（5）教师出示PPT9，教授uncle，aunt，cousin的读音并指着uncle说：He is father’s/mother’s brother；指着aunt说：She is father’s/mother’s sister；指着cousin说：This is my cousin.
（设计思路：通过用PPT学习单词，并利用PPT做练习，有助于提高学生语言的实践能力。）
2. PPT10- PPT17学习have和has的用法。
（1）教师出示PPT10，通过动画展示，让学生理解have的含义；
（2）教师出示PPT11，出示李明的家庭照，引导学生们读：I have mother and father，I don’t have brothers or sisters. 教师指出：have的意思是“有”，而它的否定意义“没有”就是don’t have.
（3）教师出示PPT12-PPT13，引导学生们读：My cousin has mother and father. She don’t have brothers or sisters. My father has a brother. He is my uncle.教师指出：当主语为第三人称单数时，用has表示“有”，当句子中有助动词时，其它动词用原形。
（4）教师出示PPT14-PPT15，针对实义动词have和has的用法进行练习。
（5）教师出示PPT16-PPT17，对have和has的用法进行总结。
（设计思路：在情景中学习语言知识，既巩固了句型，又避免了大量机械操练还给学生的疲劳感，让学生始终处于兴奋状态。）
3.呈现课文。
(1)教师出示PPT18，播放课文教学音频，学生整体感知课文。
（2）在播放课文的同时，出示李明的家谱图，通过听课文让学生认识李明的家庭成员。
（3）听完课文内容后，让同学们打开书，自读课文，教师巡视，纠正学生的错误读音。
（三）Consolidation and extension
1.教师出示PPT19，让学生根据本课的课文内容填空。
（设计思路：通过这个练习，可以了解学生对课文内容以及对单词的掌握情况，以便针对性的查漏补缺。）
2.教师教师出示PPT20，让全班同学四人一组，让学生根据自己的家庭情况向其它小组成员介绍自己的家庭。然后让各个小组推荐组员在班级里介绍，进行小组比赛。
（设计思路：把所学的知识应用于实践。）

1.背诵并抄写本课时的四会词组。
2.做练习册上本课时的配套练习。
