【教学内容】
Lesson 9 Just talk
【教学目标】
1.言语技能目标
本课以在马路上Li Yan向Kate介绍自己的叔叔和婶婶为场景进行会话教学。引出要学习的目标语言Who's that policeman / policewoman?及其答语。要求学生能在本单元前面学习的基础生，用新单词形容人的外貌及性格特征。让学生整体感知、模仿、学习对话语言，最终使学生能够运用目标语言进行交际。
2.语言知识目标
①．能够正确地听、说、认读单词beautiful , handsome .
②．能够正确地听、说、认读的句子：
Who's that policeman ? He’s my uncle . He’s handsome .
Who's that policewoman ? She’s my aunt . She’s beautiful .
3.情感态度目标
进一步提高对英语学习的热情，培养更加稳定的学习兴趣。能积极主动地参与课堂活动， 在情景对话中大胆开口，主动模仿。
【教学重难点】 重点①能够正确地听、说、认读单词beautiful , handsome.
②在适当的情景中正确地听、说、读下面的句子：
Who's that policeman / policewoman?
难点是学生在听力中能够浏览找出关键词，抓听重点。
【教学准备】
教师准备多媒体课件、录音机、磁带、单词卡片(有关人物性格的卡片)。另外还要自制两个女孩的头饰或面具； 准备一张家人的照片。
【教学过程】
Step 1: Warm-up 热身活动
Revision ,复习导入。
教师出示Lesson 10中的人物，用Who's that boy/girl ？进行提问 ，和学生共同讨论他/她的相关信息 。
T : Who's that boy?
S : He’s Ken .
T : How old is he ?
S : He’s nine .
T : He’s quiet ,right ?
S : No ,he’s active .
Step 2: Presentation 新知呈现.
1） 展示本课的教学挂图，让学生观察。
2） 教师指着挂图，目的是让学生大概了解会话情景及会话的主要内容。
Look at the picture, Who are they?（教师指着整幅场景图）
And look at that man.（指着Li Yan’s uncle）
Who is that man ? What does he look like ?
3）鼓励学生观察，尝试说出答案
学生预设回答：He has short hair ,big eyes and a small mouth .
教师引导: Yes , He’s handsome.
教师出示单词handsome ，引导学生朗读单词，通过出示几张学生熟知的男影星、男歌星帮助学生感知这个单词的含义。请学生介绍班上同学：_______ is handsome . 在感知句子She’s beautiful .这个句型时，教师可以出示几张学生熟知的女影星、女歌星的照片，感知单词beautiful 的含义.。请学生介绍班上同学：_______ is beautiful。
4）学生根据图片人物穿着警服能够猜测他的职业policeman ,又能通过 policeman 推出policewoman 。教师还可引导学生体会其他类似policeman / policewoman的构词： fireman , postman , superman ,milkman 等 。
5）教师开始播放会话录音 ，让学生大概了解会话情景及会话的主要内容。
6）出示文本，学生通读大意。
7）提出问题：
a 、Who's that policeman ?
b 、Who's that policewoman ?
c 、What does Kate think of them ?
Listen to the tape and try to find the answer.
再次播放录音，让学生有目的地去听，听后回答问题。
9）之后学生自读课文,教师对课文重点单词及句子进行标注讲解，同桌互读。
Step 3: Practice 趣味操练.
1..Let’s voice 让我们配音.
再次播放视频，将声音关闭，学生进行配音活动。
2.Situaitional dialogue,情景对话练习。，Kate 和Li Yan
小组合作，一人饰Kate ,一人饰Li Yan ,分角色朗读对话内容。进行情景对话。
3 .说唱歌谣 ，并鼓励学生创编新歌谣。
①教师呈现自编的歌谣，学生试说 :
Who's that policeman ? Who's that policeman ?
He’s my uncle . He’s handsome .
Who's that policewoman ? Who's that policewoman ?
She’s my aunt . She’s beautiful .
Step 4: Additional activities拓展活动。
场景设置：学生拿出提前准备好的家人照片 ，两人一组 ，根据照片询问相关信息 ，整理后在全班汇报 。
语言支持：
S1 : Who's that man/woman ？
S2 : He’s/ She’s… …
He’s/ She’s smart / clever / handsome / beautiful …
【作业布置】 1.把今天所学的课文读给家长听。
2.向同学介绍自己的家人。
3.完成活动手册相关内容。
