【教学过程】
Step1.热身活动
老师播放热身歌曲《Months song》,学生跟着视频一起唱一唱，活跃课堂氛围。
然后老师指着视频里的钢琴和学生对话：
T：What’s he doing?
S: He’s playing the piano.
T: Can you play the piano? What music instruments do you like?
然后老师将学生喜欢的乐器名字写在黑板上，然后老师询问学生：
Have you ever played at a concert? 然后老师引出本节课的内容：
In this unit,Ann and Ken will play musical instruments at their school concert.
Step2.教学新课
（一）课文导入
1.学生打开课本P14,看到课本的图片，然后指着图片说：
The school will have a concert on Children’s Day.
老师讲解新单词concert： 演唱会，并且教会学生如何正确的朗读单词。
老师讲解单词will 用在一般将来时里，表示未来会发生的事情。
然后老师指着课本的第二幅图片说：Ann will play the piano and Ken will play the guitar.
老师解释句子意思，并且讲解单词：
Guitar 吉他 Piano 钢琴
老师出示课本出现的其他乐器，老师讲解这些乐器的英语单词，并且带领学生如何正确的朗读单词。
（二）Story
1.老师第一遍播放录音，学生边看课本，边听录音，掌握故事的主要内容。
2.老师出示课本故事的插图，学生观看插图，回答下列问题：
P1，2: What will Ken Ann and David do at the concert?
Will Mocky play in the concert? What will Mocky do?
P3: Will Ken’s parents go to the concert? What is he reading?
P4/5: What’s happening now? Will
P5: What color is the bag? Is this Ken’s father’s reading?
P6/7: Who will play the drum?
3.老师再次播放课本对话的录音，学生听录音跟读，注意语音语调。
4.讲故事：
5.老师播放故事底下的介绍，学生听录音，回答问题：
How well do you think Mocky plays the drum?
6.老师再次播放叙述的录音，学生跟着录音一起朗读。
7.全班分成两组，分别朗读叙述的内容，老师评出优秀朗读小组。
Step3.巩固拓展
活动一：
全班分成两组，每一组学生分别给故事配音。老师评出最佳朗读小组。
活动二：
学生分角色表演故事内容，并且配上动作和表情，并且上台表演故事内容，老师评出最佳表演小组。
