一、Listen and say
1.导入
(1)师生问候后展开自由对话:“What day is today? What’s the date today?'’ ·
出示课文主题图(PPT2),引导学生观察图片,图片中Guoguo的一家在做什么?读一读图片中的文字“世界地球日”。教师用两个问题引导学生初听课文(PPT3-4):
T:What do we say“世界地球日”in English?
Ss:World Earth Day.
T:When is World Earth Day?
Ss:It's April 22nd.
出示PPT5,圈出4月22日这一天,提问:“What's the date?”学生进行回答。教师导语:“April 22nd is a very special day.Do you know why?”
教师根据学生实际回答的情况进行反馈,鼓励学生大胆猜想。
(2)上述环节结束后,教师播放关于世界地球日的视频片段(PPT6),引发学生学习兴趣
T:Now let's watch a video.Let's try to find out what it is about.
学生认真观看世界地球日的宣传片找出答案。要让学生对将要学到的内容有所感知,并进行简单的反馈。
2.学习对话
(1)教师使用PPT呈现课文主题图。
T:Please look at this picture,Guoguo and her parents are talking.What are they talking about? Now let's listen.(出示PPT7)
(2)再听对话,让学生听Guoguo一家的谈话主题。学生根据自己的理解和捕捉会听出相关的主题,教师予以及时的鼓励,学生的表达可以是多样的(出示PPT8):World Earth Day,世界地球日,protect the environment/earth保护环境/地球。教师再回到开篇的日历:“This time,do you know why April 22nd is a special day? '’学生回答:“Yes,April 22nd is World Eath Day·”教师帮助学生熟悉这个特殊的日子。
(3)再听对话,教师提问(出示PPT9):“What's World Earth Day for?'’学生尝试回答:“It tells people to protect the environment.’’(出示PPT10-11)教学单词environment,date,protect,stop,litter,answer,clean及短语:protect the environment,plastic bags,answer the questions,keep the lawn clean and tidy。
(4)解决上述问题后,教师引导学生打开书,独立阅读对话,并回答问题(出示PPT12):“How does Guoguo's dad go to work every day?’’学生在阅读后可能回答:“By car.”
(5)理解上述表述后,教师用细节问题引导学生进一步仔细阅读和理解文本(出示PPT13)。

学生再次阅读后可答出:Dad can go to work by bus or by subway. They should stop using plastic bags.They don't litter.
(6)听录音模仿跟读。
(7) 学生再次在教师的带领下独立朗读课文,边朗读边圈出对话中表示保护环境的短语。
(8) 教师就课文内容提出新的问题(出示PPT14)“Guoguo thinks we need more trashcans by the roadside to keep the lawn clean and tidy.Have you got any other ideas?’’引导学生进行组内讨论并运用“I think we….”来分享自己的想法。教师予以及时的反馈,并鼓励学生大声说出自己的想法。

1.师生共同观察图片(出示PPT15)鼓励学生说出图中所示的特殊日子:International Nurses’ Day,World Health Day,World Water Day,World Animal Day。
2.再引导学生说出下面的日期:March 22nd,October4th,April 7th,May 12th。
3.组织学生听录音一遍,边听边连线,注意按照听到的顺序连线。
4.组织学生第二遍听录音,检查自己的答案。
5.师生共同核对答案(出示PPT16)。

1.给学生1分钟的时间独立阅读全文,初步理解段落大意。
