【教学目标】
1.能够听懂、会说低碳生活的意思及具体实施方式;能够运用祈使句在情景中与他人进行适当的交流。
2.能够运用“What does/do…mean?'’询问自己不懂的词汇或事物并回答。
3.能够正确理解课文对话,正确朗读课文并尝试表演对话;能够转述主课文。
4.能够通过对话的学习,树立低碳生活的意识并能够落实到实际生活中。
【教学重难点】
1.教学重点:
(1)功能句型
●祈使句的使用:“Let's/Don't/Remember to…”●对自己不懂的词汇、短语或事物的询问及回答:“What does…mean?'’
(2)四会单词:print,paper,save,also。
(3)认读短语:print on both sides of the paper,save trees,live a low-carbon life。
2.教学难点:
(1)对“Let's live a low-carbon life.”的正确理解。
(2)结合自己的生活经验,合理地使用祈使句对低碳生活方式进行具体的表述。

【教学过程】
一、Listen and say
1.导入
(1)教师出示前一课课文的主题图,提示学生上节课所学内容。教师用提问的方式引导学生回忆相关内容(出示PPT2)。
T:What do Guoguo and her parents talk about? When is World Earth Day? What is it for?
(2)明确主题后,师生就上一课所学内容展开自由讨论(出示PPT3)。
T:What can we do to protect the environment?
请学生自由发言,简单回答问题,一个学生答一个方法就可以,其他同学补充,让尽量多的学生有机会发言。
2.学习对话
(1)教师出示Lesson 10中的对话主题图,Lingling和Yangyang正在谈论着什么,他们在说什么呢? (出示PPT4)
T:Do you see the printer? Are they talking about it? Now let's listen.指着主题图简单释义print,printer。
(2)初听对话(出示PPT5),让学生听出Lingling和Yangyang的谈话主题。学生根据自己的理解和捕捉会听出对话中的内容,教师予以及时的鼓励,学生的表达可以是多样的:
protect the environment/earth,save something/energy。
(3)再听对话,这一次请同学们听出在Lingling和Yangyang的对话中他们都是怎样做的。
(4)小组内进行交流,学生答出短语即可(出示PPT6)。

(5)小组讨论形成共识后,教师再用PPT或者板书的形式呈现出这些短语,提问:“What are all of these about?”引出live a low-carbon life。播放一段关于节能减排的视频,帮助学生理解低碳的概念,告诉学生低碳生活主要是减少生活中二氧化碳的制造和排放(出示PPT7-8)。
(6)请同学打开课本,引导学生在阅读过程中圈画出与低碳生活方式相关的句子。熟读这些句子,帮助学生深入理解(出示PPT9)。
(7)听录音模仿跟读。
(8)角色扮演。
(9)教师引导学生进行小组讨论:“Give more examples of living a low-carbon life.”引导学生结合自己已有的生活经验,说一说自己和家人的节能减排方式,和大家分享。教师帮助学生关注祈使句的用法,特别强调动词原形的使用。
(10)引导学生转述Lingling和Yangyang的对话(出示PPT10)。
二、Listen and number(出示PPT11)
(1)师生共同观察图片中提供的信息,教师鼓励学生对将要听到的内容进行预测。
(2)组织学生听录音一遍,根据录音内容标注序号。
(3)组织学生第二遍听录音,检查标注是否正确。
(4)听第三遍,指导学生简单做笔记,重点记录动词短语。
●教师使用PPT提供两三个类似场景帮助学生进行谈话讨论。
●小组展示,教师进行评价。学生如在谈话讨论中能用语言正确表达观点,能使用动词的恰当形式,教师要做重点评价。
三、Read and write (出示PPT12-13)
(1)给学生1分钟的时间独立阅读全文,初步理解段落大意。
(2)指导学生在理解段落大意之后,从课文中选择恰当的单词填空。
(3)小组同伴之间进行讨论,组内分享,确定正确答案。
(4)请一名同学分享答案,师生共同订正答案。
(5)再次读一下所填入的单词,全班明确正确的书写。
四、Let's do(出示PPT14)
(1)师生共同阅读,看看如何完成该活动。
(2)小组讨论,明确活动。
(3)教师明确活动要求。
●Discussion groups, share your idea.
●Everything you talk is about living a low-carbon life.
●Share in groups.
(4)找几名同学向全班汇报,同学反馈调查结果是否正确,进行生生互动评价。
(5)拓展运用(出示PPT15)。
教师引导学生介绍一下自己的低碳生活方式,以一个主题做2—3句连续表达,教师先以自己的经历做出示范:“Let's live a low-carbon life. Let's save paper. We can print on both sides of the paper. We can write on both sides of the paper. Remember to use the notebook page by page.”
●教学活动:归纳、应用(出示16-17)
活动目的:复习巩固环保生活的相关表达。
活动步骤:
(1)师生共同归纳本单元已经学过的两课中的肯定和否定的表达方式:should/shouldn't,do/don't,need,stop doing,……。
(2)学生根据教师所给的句子用多种方式改写句子。例如:
Please save water.
Please don't waste water.
Please stop wasting water.
We should save water.
We shouldn't waste water.
We should save paper.
Please keep the library clean and tidy.
