【教学目标】
1.巩固复习表示人体感觉的形容词和表示位置的介词,能在一定的场景中运用。
2.复习感叹句的表达,并能够在恰当的情景下运用。
3.能够理解朗读对话,尝试表演对话或转述对话。
4.结合本单元的环保主题,通过学习对话,树立热爱小动物、与大自然和平共处的意识,并能够落实到自己的实际生活中。
【教学重难点】
1.教学重点:
(1)句型:“Are you…? Yes, we are./No, we're not.”“I'm…”和“What a/an+形容词+名词!”
(2)词汇:tired, thirsty, toilet, under, friendly和go ahead, that big branch, be scared, be friendly.
2.教学难点:
Be动词的正确使用。(1)It'll be scared and run away. (2)We should be friendly to it.

【教学过程】
一、Listen and say
1.导入
(1)教师播放PPT2向学生出示4月22日这个日期:“What's the date? Is it a special day? Why? What is it for?”
(2) 出示PPT3,就上一课所学内容展开自由讨论:“What can we do to protect the environment? Do you know the meaning of living a low-carbon life? Can you tell some examples? ’’ 请学生自由发言,简单回答问题。
2.学习对话
(1)教师出示(PPT4)对话主题图:“Mike, Lingling and Maomao are talking. What do you see in the picture? Where are they?'’学生通过观察图片说出自己所看到的事物,“They are under a big tree.”“There are some birds in the tree.’’“There is a squirrel in the tree.”
(2)听对话(出示PPT5),让学生听出Mike,Lingling和Maomao的谈话主题。学生根据自己听到的对话内容,回答如下问题(出示PPT6):
How do they feel? Where are the birds? Where's the squirrel?
(4)小组内进行交流,学生做出回答:
They are hot and thirsty. One of them needs to use the toilet. The birds are in the branches.
The squirrel is behind a big branch.
在学生作答后,采取在主题图中圈画的方式帮助学生理解a branch,branches,并纠正发音(出示PPT7)。 (5)第三次请同学们听对话,回答如下问题(出示PPT8):
Why does Lingling say“shhh"? What's her suggestion?
(6)请同学打开课本,引导学生划分义群,帮助学生深入理解。教师引导学生用英语释义的方式解释短语be friendly,教师予以及时的反馈。正确的解释应该有be kindly,be nice,…(出示PPT9)
(7)出示PPT10继续提问:“Is the tree big? Please underline the sentence about the big tree. Is the squirrel cute? Please underline the sentence about the cute squirrel.’’
提出感叹句式(出示PPT11):“What a big tree! What a cute thing!”帮助学生熟读,讲解感叹句的用法。同时出示(出示PPT12)让学生进行简单的应用。
(8)听录音模仿跟读。
让学生观察图片中提供的信息,教师鼓励学生对将要听到的内容进行预测。听第一遍录音,根据录音内容,选择听到的与录音相符的图片进行标注。第二遍听录音,检查标注是否正确,最后全班交流,订正答案(出示PPT13)。
三、Read and write(出示PPT14-15)
1.给学生1分钟的时间独立阅读全文,初步理解段落大意。
2.指导学生在理解段落大意之后,从课文中选择恰当的单词填空。
3.小组同伴之间进行讨论,确定正确答案。
4.请一名同学分享答案,师生共同订正答案。
5.再次读一下所填人的单词,全班明确正确的书写。
四、Let's do(出示PPT16)
1.师生共同阅读,看看如何完成该活动。
2.教师明确活动要求。
(1)Discussion groups,ask and answer the questions one by one.
(2)Do not repeat the others.
(3)You are going to have 2 minutes to finish it.
3.找两组同学向全班汇报,同学反馈调查结果是否正确,进行生生互动评价。
4.拓展运用 。
结合这部分内容,教师引导学生关注主题对话最后两句话的含义(出示PPT17),引发学生对保护动物、关爱动物、与大自然和谐相处的思考。
组内交流。教师在小组讨论前可以给学生提供一个保护动物的视频(出示PPT18)帮助学生拓宽思路,学生可能的答案包括:Do not scare the animals. Do not feed the animals in the zoo. If you have a pet, keep it and look after it well, etc.
五、Summary(出示PPT19)
1.掌握四会单词:tired, thirsty, toilet, under, friendly并认读短语:go ahead, that big branch ,be scared, be friendly.
2.能正确使用动词Be:
(1)It'll be scared and run away.
(2)We should be friendly to it.
