一、概念:表示说话时正在进行或发生的动作,也可表示当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。结构:助动词 be ( am / is / are ) +现在分词。
二、现在分词的构成:
1.大多数动词可在动词后直接加-ing。如: drink-drinking, do-doing , read-reading 。
2.如果动词以不发音e结尾,则去掉e,再加-ing。如:come-coming, have-having, make-making, ride-riding。
3.如果动词只有一个元音字母,而其后跟有一个辅音字母时,应将此辅音字母双写,再加-ing。 如: put-putting, run-running, sit-sitting。 三、现在进行时的句型结构:
1. 肯定形式:主语+be(am/ is/are)+doing+其他成分
I am singing . They are writing .
2.否定形式:主语+be(am/ is/are)+not +doing+其他成分
I am not singing . They aren’t writing .
3)一般疑问句及回答:be(am/ is/are)+ 主语+doing+其他成分
Am I singing ? Yes ,you are . / No ,you aren’t .
Are they writing ? Yes ,they are . / No ,they aren’t .
4)特殊疑问句及回答:特殊疑问词+be(am/ is/are)+主语+doing+其他成分
What are you doing ? We are playing (按要求具体回答).

【教学目标】
1.能理解、朗读本课Listen and say中的对话,能在恰当情景下理解“Should I call the
police?'’。能用“What does he look like?'’进行问答。
2.能听懂并能完成Listen,guess,and number中的听力练习,尝试归纳总结描述动物的句型和词汇。
3.能使用little,beautiful,head,only,street,police,garden完成读写练习,理解并尝试朗读Read and write中的小短文。
4.能用“There is/are….”描述图片。
5.能认识现在进行时的句型,理解现在进行时的用法。
【教学重难点】
1.教学重点:理解、朗读对话。
2.教学难点:security的读音,but的含义。认识现在进行时的句型,理解现在进行时的用法。

【教学过程】
一、Listen and say
1.导入
T:What's your favourite animal? What does it look like?(or What's it like?) (出示PPT2-3)
2.学习对话
(1)出示PPT4,学习little,beautiful,head,only,street,police,garden
(2)Question time.
出示主题图,引导学生提问(出示PPT5)。
T:Look at the picture.What do you want to know about the new dialogue.You can ask questions with ‘‘what,who,where,when,how,did".
学生在提问过程中出现语法错误是正常的,教师可以把正确的提问句式说出来,学生能够理解就可以,不对学生提出过高要求。
(3)Listen and answer.
教师播放课件,让学生在听对话时,找出现在进行时的句子,然后教者进行讲解(出示PPT6-8)。
(4)Read and answer.
教师出示下面的问题,让学生回答。可以先与同伴商量,然后各组抽签回答问题,其他组补充。可以对对话内容、词汇等提出疑问,大家交流解决,理解对话内容。
参考问题(出示PPT9-11):

(4) Listen and repeat.
教师播放课件,学生跟读对话,体会人物感情。第一遍逐句跟读,第二遍男女生分角色跟读,为下面分角色朗读做准备。
(5)Pairwork:两人一组,分角色练习对话,教师巡视,了解学生学习情况并给予及时指导。
二、Listen,guess,and number
1.Look and say:看图,用一句话描述此部分的动物,引导学生抓住主要特征(出示PPT12)。
2.Listen,guess,and number:学生听两遍录音,给图标号(出示PPT13)。
3.Exchange books and check the answers.
4.小组活动。
Animals we know.
Talk about your favourite animal.
三、Read and write
1.完成读写练习
(1)学生自己读短文,填写所缺单词(出示PPT14)。 (2)同桌之间互相订正答案,尝试朗读。
(3)师生问答交流答案,理解“but there is no need to call the police.”(出示PPT15)。

引导学生理解需要报警的场合和事件(出示PPT16-18)。
(4)给学生时间读一读短文。
2.仿写练习
(1)请学生选择对话中的一个人物,仿照本部分写不少于5句话的短文。注意书写要求
(2)如果有时间可以在课上交流一下学生写的短文。如果没时间可以让学生课下完成,然后小组内交换批改,选出本组最好的在课堂上交流。
四、Let’s do
1.看图说话。What's in the picture? There is/are…. (出示PPT19-20)
2.让学生自己写描述图片的句子。
3.小组内分享自己写的句子。
4.Group show.每组选一位同学的作品共享。引导学生关注描写图片时应该注意的问题。尽量写成意义连贯的短文,注意逻辑性。先总体介绍是什么,在哪儿,由近及远描述图中物品,最后总结对此图的看法。

1. 理解“Should I call the police?'’。
2. 能用“What does he look like?'’进行问答。
3. 能用“There is/are….”描述图片。

六、Homework (出示PPT22)
