Ⅱ.呈现 新知 （1）教师为学生播放本单元第一课时的教学录音，复习单词big, short, small, tall。（2）强化so 的用法。so 在句子中的意思是：“强调某种程度”。（3）教师出示单词卡片或实物对比的方法，再次认读并复习表示大小、长短的单词big, long, short, small, tall。继续用大象的图片和学过的句型It’s so…引导学生说出新句型It has …，并提醒学生区分运用单数名词和复数名词。T:It has a nose. Ⅳ.实践应用 1.学习Make a monster.学生两人一组，一个说It has a big body.另一个找到相应的图片，一边说OK．Here's a big body. 一边将图找出来，当图片拼成一幅动物图时，对动物进行描述。如：Look at my bear. It has a big body.用It’s…和It has …描述一下你喜欢的动物。
