教学重点 本单元所学的动物的单词以及Story time 中的小故事。
教学难点 掌握三会句型。
教学方法 任务型教学法。
二、【教学流程】

I.复习热身 1、教师播放B部分Let’s sing中的录音，学生一边打拍子一边说唱歌谣：Cat is fast.Rat is fat.See them run.Fun!Fun!Fun!Monkey is short.Giraffe is tall.See them play with the ball.2、教师出示big,small,short,tall这几个形容词的卡片，学生按座位顺序轮流朗读单词并拼读。然后把学生分成四组进行造句比赛。比一比哪组学生造的句子最多。如：（教师出示big的卡片）G1:It has a big nose.G2:It has big eyes.G3:It has big ears.G4:It has a big mouth....(教师出示short的卡片）G1：It has short legs.G2:It has a short tail.G3:It has a short body.G4:It has short arms.【设计意图】：活跃课堂气氛，调动学生学习的兴趣，复习本单元所学内容。
Ⅱ.呈现 新知 1、让学生小组内分角色表演A部分的对话2、观看三年级上册P63 Let's talk部分视频【设计意图】：复习How many…句型，为下一步的阅读做铺垫。3、T:What’s this (出示tiger的图片）S：It’s a tiger.T:What’s this (出示lion的图片）S:It’s a lion.T:What’s this （出示fox的图片）S:It’s a fox.T:What’s this (出示wolf的图片）S:It’s a wolf.T:What’s this (出示zebra的图片）S:It’s a zebra.T:What’s this (出示horse的图片）S:It’s a horse.T:What’s this (出示monkey和gorilla的图片）S:Monkeys.T:No,The small one is a monkey.The big one is a gorilla.教师板书并教读单词gorilla,然后让学生用中文说说monkey和gorilla的区别。
