1.掌握词汇:skirt, socks, crayons, idea和句型:How old is…? Where/When was

2.能流利朗读对话,理解对话,尝试复述对话内容。
3.能写一段话来介绍他人的国籍、生日、职业等信息。

【教学过程】
一、Listen and say
1.导入
(1) 出示PPT2-4教师提问,学生回答。
T: What day is today? What's the date today? S: It's….
T: Do you remember all the months of a year? (Students try to say the names of each month.)
(2) 出示PPT4,复习国家名称。教师呈现以前学过的国家及国旗图片,如China,France,Australia等,让学生说出国家名称。
2.学习对话
(1) 出示PPT5,谈论主题图。
让学生认真观察图片,教师提问:
T: Look, they're Baobao and Sara.Where are they?
S: Maybe they're in the store/at home....’’
T: What are they talking about? (学生进行预测)
(2)理解对话(出示PPT6-7)
首先让学生快速浏览一遍对话文本,回答刚才的问题:They're talking about buying a gift.然后教师可呈现如下问题,学生自主阅读后,思考并回答。
How old is Wenwen? Wenwen will be ten years old.
Where was Wenwen born? She was born in the U.S.A.
What did Baobao buy for Wenwen? Baobao bought an eraser for her.
How much is the eraser? It's three yuan.
教师从班中找到个子差不多高的两名学生,教学as tall as结构(出示PPT8-9)。
T:How tall are you? S1:I'm....S2:I'm....
T:So we can say,S1 is almost as tall as S2.
T:Can you find someone who is as tall as you in your class? 鼓励学生在班内找到和自己身高相仿的同学,尝试表达:
“...is almost as tall as I am.”
教师呈现实物蜡笔,帮助学生理解crayons(出示PPT10)。教师示范读音,指名进行朗读。
出示PPT11,教师提问:
T: What shape is the eraser for Wenwen?
S: It's in the shape of a pig.
T: Do you have an eraser in the shape of a pig? What shape is your eraser?
S: I have an eraser in the shape of a fish/pear....(学生根据自己橡皮形状回答)
(3)朗读对话。
出示PPT12,播放对话录音,学生逐句跟读。教师强调连读:“I’ll take it.’’
男生、女生分别扮演Baobao和Sara,进行分角色朗读。然后交换角色。
让学生找出文中短语,教者进行讲解(出示PPT13)。
(4)问答练习(出示PPT14-15)。
教师与班上一名学生进行问答。例如:“Do you have a brother? How old is he? When was he born? Where was he born? How tall is he?”
教师同时板书问题在黑板上。
二、Listen and match(出示PPT16-18)
1.教师出示自己的一个新帽子,介绍:This is my new hat.How much is it? Can you guess?
学生猜测:It's flfty/thirty-five….教师给出正确答案:It’s sixty yuan.猜测最接近的学生获胜。
2.开展group work,运用“How much is/are your…?” “It's/They are…yuan.”询问同学的文具或衣服价钱并回答。
3.学生打开书,迅速浏览Listen and match中列出的物品和价格。 教师播放录音,学生根据录音连线。
4.订正答案。
三、Read and write(出示PPT19-20)
1.学生先自主快速浏览该文段,理解文段大意。再细读文段,填出所缺的单词。尽量先不看对话内容,遇到困难再认真读对话。
2.开展pair work或group work,讨论答案。集体核对答案:skirt,socks,crayons,idea,学生记忆单词。
3.学生朗读文段,加深理解。
四、Let's do(出示PPT21-22)
1.教师提问学生:“There are many famous people in our country and in the world.Which one do you know?'’学生回答自己知道的人物,如:成龙、杰克逊等。
2.教师呈现教材中的鲁迅、雷锋、聂耳、爱因斯坦、赫本和居里夫人的图片,提问:“They're all very famous.Do you know them?”学生说出自己知道的人物名字。
