教师出示电脑室的图片并介绍：There are many computers in this room . The students have computer class in this room . We call it computer room . 板书：computer room ,带领学生用升降调读单词，然后采用大小声的游戏操练单词。
(2)学习词组music room
教师出示一张钢琴的图片并介绍：Look! This is a piano .Where is it ? 教师边说边将其贴在音乐教室里，边贴边说：Oh,it is in the music room .板书：music room ,接着教师先带领学生用升降读单词music, 然后再用高低音的游戏操练词组：music room .
(3)学习词组art room
教师出示画笔说：Now,I want to draw a picture . I can go to the art room . 板书 ：art room , 先带读art,然后带读art room ,最后带读句子：This is an art room .
(4)学习单词playground 和gym .
教师介绍说：I like sports .Sometimes I run in the playground . Sometimes I play basketball in the gym . 板书playground , gym , 带读这两个单词。

这一课时的单词学习起来会比较简单，因为都有room的后缀。而学生对room这个单词也很熟悉，所以这几个单词学起来较容易。需要注意的是art room前面的冠词要用an，要让学生观察区分。本课的句子Do you have a/an ...?及其回答Yes, we do./No, we don’t. 也较容易上口，比较好学。老师要创设相应情景让学生进行充分的语句运用。
