【重点难点】
重点:本课时需要重点掌握农场上常见的蔬菜的名称及其复数形式的变化。

【课堂探究】
1.以“o”结尾的名词变复数
以”o”结尾的名词变复数,有时加-es,有时加-s。那么哪些名词后加-es,哪些名词后加-s呢?
(1)一般来说,有生命的名词后加-es。
potato---potatoes土豆
tomato---tomatoes西红柿
hero---heroes英雄
(2)无生命的名词后加-s。
photo---photos照片
piano---pianos钢琴
zoo---zoos动物园

此句是what引导的特殊疑问句,用于询问事物的名称。these用来指代复数名词。答语是:They are +事物名称的复数。

一、【教材分析】
教学目标 知识目标 1.能够听、说、认读本课时主要单词hen, sheep, cow, horse以及它们的复数变化。2.能够熟练运用句型These are... They are so …介绍动物。

教学重点 掌握农场上常见的牲畜的名称hen, sheep, cow, horse以及它们的复数变化。
教学难点 sheep复数的不规则变化,horses的发音。

I.复习热身 1. Let’s sing Sing the song together.2. 口语交际,由讨论天气过渡到本单元口语话题。E.g.What’s the weather like today Is it warm T:What a lovely day! Let’s go to the farm.T:I love vegetables very much.Do you love vegetables?What vegetables do you know 引导学生说出自己所了解的有关蔬菜的单词,如果学生说出本课涉及单词,教师随即拿出卡片,请这位同学来教大家读。
Ⅱ.新知呈现 教师根据学生已说出来的蔬菜单词引出本节课。在课件上呈现出西红柿的图片,并呈现问题:What’s this 引导学生说:This is a tomato.教师教读单词tomato.让学生传卡片,说句子:This is a tomato.一一呈现西红柿的图片,引导学生说one tomato, two tomatoes, three tomatoes.教读tomatoes. 教师点拨:tomato------ tomatoes教师指着三张西红柿的图片问:What are these 引导学生回答:They are tomatoes.课件呈现单词he ,we, 引导学生读出these.学生操练句型:What are these They are tomatoes.教师再拿很多西红柿图卡,说:I like tomatoes. Do you like tomatoes 引导学生用I like …或I don’t like…根据自己的实际情况表达。呈现不同颜色的西红柿的图片,让学生观察图片,引导学生说出句子:The tomatoes are red\yellow\green.同样的方法学练:potato ------ potatoes用英语描述:The potatoes are big.请学生猜谜语:They are long and orange. Rabbits like eating them What are they 学习单词carrot--- carrots.教师出示青豆图卡,说:Look at the green beans. They are so long.让学生仿照描述: Look at the green beans. They are so green. Look at the green beans. They are so fresh.教师出示洋葱:It’s pink and round. It is often used in pizza. It’s an onion. Do you like onions 学生读单词:onionT: I don’t like onions. Because they make me cry.
Ⅲ.练习巩固 1. Listen and repeat.学生看课本或课件,播放Let’s learn 的录音,学生跟读。要求学生模仿发音。2. 教师出示词卡并领读,让学生巩固掌握生词的正确发音。3.小组活动:先在小组内读单词。然后一个同学说单词,其他同学举起相应的单词卡片。4. 教师将五种蔬菜实物或图片分别放在教室的不同位置,然后说单词,请学生指出相应的实物或图片。5.Sharp eyes.教师利用课件呈现单词,让学生快速的读出来;然后呈现图片,让学生快速的说出英语单词。6. 单、复数变化:课件呈现单词的单复数,学生读单词,并发现它们的区别。教师把单数形式板书到黑板上,教师把课前准备好的s和es 发给学生,让学生贴在单词后面。看谁贴的又快有准。7.Let’s chant.
Ⅳ.实践应用 1.绘画游戏:教师说:two potatoes;three carrots;a pink onion;five long green beans;four tomatoes学生比赛看谁画得又快又正确。2. 描述蔬菜。教师启发学生用所学形容词和颜色词描述图中的蔬菜。The tomatoes are red.The potatoes are big. Look at the green beans. They are so long. 呈现不同形态的蔬菜,让学生进行问答练习What are these They are…课件呈现句型:What’s this It’s a carrot. What are these They are carrots.学生总结出单数和复数的不同。this---these it---they is---are
Ⅴ.总结反馈 Sum up生总结渗透思想教育:Vegetables and fruits are healthy food. They are green food. We should eat more.

四、【教后反思】
本节课通过主线人物讨论蔬菜丰收的情景而呈现了句型Look at the …They’re so long. The potatoes are big.以及单词tomato, potato, carrot, green bean的词形和意义及其复数形式.这部分内容与学生的日常饮食息息相关,学生对这些蔬菜比较熟悉,能准确把握它们的特征,因此再让学生用英语描述这些蔬菜的特征时,能激起学生表达的欲望。因此在设计本节课时,以本单元参观Mr Macdonald的农场一情境为主要情景,并在这统一的情景下引领学生谈论自己设计的农场中的蔬菜,实现了学习语言、操练语言、运用语言等一系列教学目标。因为在let’s talk 中已经学过并操练过用英语描述蔬菜的特征,因此在本节课中在熟练的操练后应该更多的侧重语言知识的运用,让学生在真实的情景中,在多种形式的活动中表达、运用句型和这部分的单词,从而真正的培养学生的综合语言运用能力。本节课的名词的复数是重点,更是难点,因此在让学生表达的过程中,教师要注意复数形式的引导,让学生达到熟能生巧的程度。(共32张PPT)
