T: I love animals. Mike and Zhang Peng like animals, too. Now they are in the museum.
What are they talking about?

2. Do you know something about dinosaurs? Some dinosaurs eat meat and some eat vegetables. Look at the pictures, listen and circle. 3. Check the answers.
（二）Let’s talk. 1. T: Mike and Zhang Peng are in the museum. They are talking about the dinosaurs. Do you want to see dinosaurs? Now let’s go to the museum. There are more dinosaurs over there.（出示句子条，领读。） 2. PPT呈现恐龙展厅。T: Look, this is the hall. 圈出最高的恐龙：That’s the tallest dinosaur in the hall. 词条呈现tall—taller—tallest, tallest means 最高的。How tall is it? Let’s listen and choose.
3. 听录音选择：

呈现Zhang Peng, Mike和最高的恐龙的图片： It’s taller than both of us together. 领读，部分读，指名读。
4.再听录音回答问题。

【课堂探究】
探究1：That’s the tallest dinosaur in this hall. 为什么要用tallest?
Zhang Peng 看到了展厅中最高的恐龙告诉了Mike。他是与展厅中其他所有恐龙相比较得出的结论。tallest是形容词tall的最高级形式。形容词最高级一般在词尾加est.
结论：当我们对三个或以上的人或者事物进行比较时，一般要用到形容词的最高级。
探究2: 总结比较级的使用规律。

(2) I’m taller than this one.
归纳：当我们对两个人或者事物进行比较时，通常要用到比较级。
