Unit 1 I like dogs
教材分析：
本单元话题是谈论自己喜欢和不喜欢的动物。教学重点是八个动物单词和句型I like…I don’t like…Do you like…?及其回答Yes, I do./No, I don’t. 关于农场动物的词汇已经在三年级下册第七单元中学过，教师可以采用以旧引新的方法，引出本单元的目标词汇。
教学中教师可以利用图片、简笔画、实物等教学用具，通过游戏、活动等形式引导学生学习并熟练掌握动物词汇，为谈论各自的喜好做准备，让学生在真实的情景中理解、学习并运用本课句型。教学中要引导学生观察I like…I don’t like…和Do you like…?等句子中名词的单复数形式，帮助学生正确理解和运用。
本单元共分为以下几个板块：
Story time 板块以一节自然课为场景：Mr Green在桌子上摆放了各种各样的动物玩具，引起了孩子们的极大兴趣，孩子们互相谈论起自己喜爱的动物，由此呈现了本单元的句型。
Fun time是句型操练板块。本板块是一个“画一画、说一说”的游戏，要求学生画出自己喜爱的动物，然后在全班展示，并运用本课所学的句型I like…Do you like…?等与同学进行问答。
Cartoon time是拓展性趣味阅读板块。本板块讲述的是Bobby和Sam在放学路上经过一家面包店，两人站在橱窗前看着各种各样的美味食物，垂涎欲滴。Bobby喜欢吃蛋糕，Sam说自己书包里就有一块。Bobby喜出望外，结果Sam从书包里掏出了一张蛋糕的图画，Bobby顿时无语。本板块再现了本单元的重点句型I like…Do you like…? Yes, I do.同时，也渗透了下一单元的新句型：I have…教师在教授时，只要求学生理解这个句子的含义，无需将该句作为本单元的教学重点。
Sound time是语音学习板块，呈现了字母g在单词中的发音，即/g/。
Rhyme time是歌谣学习板块。这首歌谣韵律感较强，教师可通过图片或动作演示帮助学生理解歌谣大意。
Checkout time板块是一个问答活动，教师可以根据自己的需要，把本部分的教学和其他板块的教学结合起来，达到操练巩固的作用。
