My mother and I took a bus and went there happily. But when we almost got there, it began to rain suddenly. We felt very sad.
As we went on our trip, it was raining harder and harder, we even wanted to give up. Just at this time, a long wall came into my eyes. What a huge wall it is! It’s more than 6 000 kilometres long.
It was difficult for us to travel in the rain. It was even more difficult to build such a wall in the ancient (古老的) days without any modern machines. The Great Wall was made not only of stone and earth, but of the flesh and blood (血肉) of millions of people. Two months ago, I went to Sichuan and saw pandas. When we got there, a mother panda and a baby panda were playing in the snow.
Most pandas live in the deep forests of Sichuan Province in China. They have white fur (皮毛), though their shoulders, legs, ears and eyes are black. The mother panda is very heavy, it is about 1.5 metres tall and weighs about 100 kilograms. They have big, sharp teeth and live mainly on bamboo leaves.
Pandas also have hobbies, for example, climbing trees and sleeping. Sadly, there are not many pandas left in the world because some people keep cutting down trees, and bad hunters (猎人) are trying to kill them for money. The Chinese government (政府) is doing its best to protect pandas from being harmed (受害) or killed. You must
