【注意】belong to 不能用于被动语态且无进行时态,
主语常常是物。【高频】 possibly /'p?s?bli/ adv.可能;也许考向【易错点】 知识点4 【辨析】maybe,perhaps,possibly 与probably
四者都有“或许;大概”之意。但它们之间仍有差别:eg:It is possibly their worst performance so far.这也许是他们迄今为止最糟糕的表演。(1)maybe多用于美式英语。指某事也许如此,含不确定之意。
eg:Maybe he will be back this afternoon.
他或许今天下午回来。
(2)perhaps与maybe 同义,多用于英式英语。
