一、教材分析
本单元主要围绕谈论自己的未来以及为了实现梦想要做出的努力来展开话题,通过本单元的学习,可以使学生了解不同职业的特点,根据自身优势畅想未来,并且为了实现理想而努力奋斗。在学习过程中,让学生能够根据自己的优势和特长,勇敢地用英语表达自己的梦想,对别人的梦想提出合理的建议,为实现自己的梦想克服困难,努力奋斗。
Lesson 25 主要是让学生简单谈论一下自己未来的职业,激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生用英语来表述自己梦想的意识。
1教学重点:了解并谈论未来的职业。
2教学难点:如何引导学生准确描述自己感兴趣的话题。
二、教学目标:
1.语言知识:
掌握词汇: might scientist grow engineer
短语 :grow up be nice to …
2.语言技能:通过本课的学习培养学生综合运用语言的能力,有效提高学生听、说及阅读的能力。

Step 1 Talking : (about 5 min)
Get the Ss to think about the questions and talk in class:
What are you interested in? What are you good at?
What would you like to be in the future?
【设计思路】:让学生谈论熟悉的话题,复习使用 be interested in doing … be good at doing … hope to be … ,为进一步的学习和谈论做好铺垫。
Step 2 Presentation: ( about 4 min )
Show some pictures and teach the new words, help the students to answer the questions and understand the meanings.
【设计思路】:用图片新授单词,让学生可以对形象生动的画面产生深刻的印象,激发学习兴趣,调动多种感观参与学习活动,更好地理解单词意思以及在语境中的用法。
Step 3 Listening(about 4 min)
Play the tape, get the students to listen and write true or false.
After listening, check the answers . Make sure that the students can understand.
【设计思路】:培养学生的听力,让学生大致了解文章内容。
Step 4 Reading(about 10 min)
Get the students to read the text and write down the answers to the questions.
After reading, check the answers. Make sure that the students can understand.
Then explain the new words and useful expressions in class.
【设计思路】:培养学生的阅读能力,让学生深入了解课文内容,能够使用简略答语正确回答问题,并掌握生词和短语。
Step 5 Talking ( about 10 min )
Get the Ss to complete the dialogue first and check the answers.
Then get some pairs to practice.
Ask the students to work in groups and talk about their future job.
At last, get some groups to present in class。

Step 6 Reading and writing ( about 8 min )
Get the students to read a short passage about one’s future and answer the questions. Make sure that the Ss can understand the passage.
Then get the Ss to try to write down a short passage about their own future in class, ask several of them to read in class.
【设计思路】:让学生将本课所学内容由口头表达转化为笔头练习, 形成知识的输出,提高写作能力。
Step 7 Summary and Homework(about 2 min)
Sum up what we have learned in this lesson.
Get the students to finish the short passage after class.

Lesson 27 What’s Your Advice?


一、教材分析
Lesson27是一节活动课,通过本课的学习可以让学生学会用英语表述做事情的过程,通过游戏激发学生兴趣的同时,培养孩子们的合作意识,让他们学会用英语表述建议。
1.教学重点:能够用英语表达做一件事情的过程和注意事项。
2.教学难点:学会使用祈使句提建议。
二.教学目标:
语言知识:
掌握词汇:advice, diamond,number, seventeen, eighteen,opposite
短语及句型:Fast is the opposite of slow. /Choose a colour.
语言技能:通过本课学习,能够用英语表达命令与要求。
情感态度:(1)通过做手工、游戏等方式激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
(2)通过小组活动与评价,培养学生合作意识。
学习策略:贯穿课堂教学始终的自我评价和小组评价,有利于培养学生的调控策略,形成自主学习能力。

Step 1 Discussion:
Get the students to talk in class.
T: Tom likes to play games with his friends after school. He often plays the game “climbing the tree”. He climbs the tree very fast and high.
If you are his friend, what advice will you give him?

Step 2 Reading
1. What colour are Danny’s diamonds?
2. What number does Jenny choose?
3. What advice does Jenny get at last?

Step 3. Fast reading
Read the dialogue again and know how they play with the advice diamond.

This unit will focus on discussing the students’ futures. Students will begin to explore their likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses in terms of future careers. They will begin to form ideas and opinions about their futures and what they hope to accomplish. They will learn about different professions, job options and identify what their goals are for the future and what steps they will need to take to achieve those goals.

Lesson 30: A Famous Friend?
一.教材分析:
1. 单元及课文分析
This unit will focus on discussing the students’ futures. Students will begin to explore their likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses in terms of future careers. They will begin to form ideas and opinions about their futures and what they hope to accomplish. They will learn about different professions, job options and identify what their goals are for the future and what steps they will need to take to achieve those goals.
In addition, they will learn to give and receive advice and positive feedback. The grammar focus throughout this unit will be the modal verbs might and would,comparative and superlative adjectives.
