学生四人为一组,讨论图片内容,教师请一个小组按顺序描述图片内容。如:

S3:He is talking with his mother in the third picture.
教师播放录音,学生对听力题目进行作答,将图片与相应日期匹配起来。
教师核对答案并再次播放录音,学生跟读录音,教师对学生的发音,断句,音调问题进行纠正。
教师解释第二部分的题目要求。
教师解释第三部分的题目要求。
教师播放录音,学生对听力题目进行作答,然后教师核对题目答案并再次播放录音,让学生跟读听力对话。

学生在两人小组内模仿示例谈论图片中另外的礼物。学生可以发挥想象进行对话。自由准备后呈现几组。
教师说:Now please read the sentences.Find "friends"for the words in this table.请学生同桌合作,朗读句子,找出与图表中语音例词有相同字母组合和发音的单词,填写表格。然后核对答案。

1.教师朗读一系列包含字母组合wh的单词,告诉学生听到认为含有/w/的单词说Bingo!认为是/h/的说Uh-on,学生认真听音作出差别。字母组合wh发/w/的单词,如:what,why,when,where,white等;字母组合wh发/h/的单词,如:who,whoever,whole,whose等。
