【教材分析】
本课选自人教版初中英语七年级下册第九单元,属于描述人的外貌课。根据《新课标》中初中阶段目标要求,本课应侧重于培养学生的口语交际能力,进而培养学生的交往能力,引人创设情景,让学生有如身临其境,采用学生提出问题,学生回答问题,借助媒体来提高学生的主动性。 【学情分析】七、五班的学生整体程度较好, 对英语普遍感兴趣,但有很大的不稳定性,好奇心强,求知欲望胜,对刺激记忆手段多的知识记忆深刻,而且学生在七年级上册已经学过关于“What does he like?”这一特殊疑问句式,具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提,能自然地与本单元话题进行衔接。谈论人的外表形象是人们日常生活中遇到的问题。
【教学目标】

讲完这节课以后,感触很深,反思如下:
在单元学习之前让学生根据课题搜集、整理与课题相关的人物外表信息(身高、身材、头发颜色,长度及发型、脸部特征、着装、性格表达等)。像这样学生课前自己准备学习材料,并利用他们带入教室的各种信息组织语言教学活动,能够使他们积极的参与到教学当中。要对学生进行经常性的需求分析,随时调整教学内容。
采用任务型语言教学,力图使学生自己输入成为主要教学途径,挖掘利用学生自身的知识与经验,结合学生实际,对教材进行整合,设计出贴近学生、贴近生活的教学内容,使学习内容更切合实际,让学生更容易深切感知。在学习过程中主张学生自主学习,合作学习和群体学习。
