教学目标：
1.知识目标：掌握本课重点概念 How old are you? I’m _____years old.
2.情感目标：感知英语的实用性，增强学习英语的兴趣。通过多样性的活动，激励学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生在英语课堂中不断体验进步，认识自我，建立自信。
教学重点：
掌握和运用句型How old are you? I’m _____.
教具、学具：
图片、录音机及磁带、单词卡片、课件等
教学过程
Step 1 Presentation(新课呈现)：
1.师生交流：How are you? / What's your name? / How old are you? / What's your father's name? / How old is he?21教育网
通过随意地师生间的交流，将话题逐渐过渡到新语言项目上来。
2.师生（三人）对话：
A. What's his name?
B. His name is________.
A. How old is he?
C. How old are you?
C. I'm twelve.
B. He's twelve.
A. Thank you.
教师与个别学生先做几组示范，使其他学生明确要说什么。学生之间做类似问答练习（可区别于教师的示范）。
C．问答练习：How old is he? He is ____years old.
学生可就同学的情况进行回答，问题中涉及到的的学生可以扮演不同年龄的孩子，增加问答的趣味性。
Step 2 Practice(趣味练习)：
1.教师出示主题图。
2.教师指图提问 (或教师示范两个问题，其余的由学生提问)，学生回答。
