教学目标:
1.知识目标:掌握本课重点概念 How old are you? I’m _____years old.
2.情感目标:感知英语的实用性,增强学习英语的兴趣。通过多样性的活动,激励学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生在英语课堂中不断体验进步,认识自我,建立自信。
教学重点:
掌握和运用句型How old are you? I’m _____.
教具、学具:
图片、录音机及磁带、单词卡片、课件等
教学过程
Step 1 Presentation(新课呈现):
1.师生交流:How are you? / What's your name? / How old are you? / What's your father's name? / How old is he?21教育网
通过随意地师生间的交流,将话题逐渐过渡到新语言项目上来。
2.师生(三人)对话:
A. What's his name?
B. His name is________.
A. How old is he?
C. How old are you?
C. I'm twelve.
B. He's twelve.
A. Thank you.
教师与个别学生先做几组示范,使其他学生明确要说什么。学生之间做类似问答练习(可区别于教师的示范)。
C.问答练习:How old is he? He is ____years old.
学生可就同学的情况进行回答,问题中涉及到的的学生可以扮演不同年龄的孩子,增加问答的趣味性。
Step 2 Practice(趣味练习):
1.教师出示主题图。
2.教师指图提问 (或教师示范两个问题,其余的由学生提问),学生回答。

How old is she? She is...What's the woman's name? Her name is...How old is she? I don't know.
3.教师借助手势、表情及语言表示:I can't tell you. It's a secret. (我不告诉你,这是个秘密。) 帮助学生明白其中的意思。向学生介绍小知识:在西方国家,人们不喜欢别人直接问年龄。因此对于西方人,尤其是女士和年长的人不要问他(她)的年龄。21世纪教育网版权所有
