形容词性物主代词在句中通常作定语修饰名词，一般不单独使用。
例句：My English teacher is kind.
我的英语老师很和蔼。名词性物主代词的用法相当于“形容词性物主代词＋名词”。
例句：This book is mine.
这本书是我的。
