Pre-task preparations
1. 询问学生每天放学后的活动。

2. 把学生分成四人小组,请每位学生讲述自己每天早晨、中午和晚上做的事。

请学生跟读kilogram,然后请学生说出自己的体重。

Look at... He’s one hundred and fifty centimetres tall. I’m one hundred and seventy centimetres tall. So I’m taller.
然后分别请两个高矮不一的学生站起来,教师问:Who’s taller? 请全班学生回答:... is taller.
播放对话录音,请学生逐句跟读,鼓励学生尽量模仿录音中人物的语音语调。
4. 教师读出反馈练习中的句子,请学生快速判断所描述的是Joe还是George。然后请每对同桌分别选择扮演Joe和George的角色,有感情地朗读对话。教师在教室内来回巡视,如果学生有困难,及时给予帮助。

1. 小组比赛。把全班同学分成两大组,快速出示千以内的数字给第一组的学生看(第二组的学生不能看),请第一组中的一个学生用英文大声念出该数字,再请第二组中的一个学生在黑板上用阿拉伯数字写出该数字。如果两个学生都对,每组各得一分;如果错,不得分。最后,哪个小组得分多就胜出。
