2. 帮助学生学习时间表达,用What time is it? It’s ... 操练时间表达。
3. 通过Ask and answer的问答练习,帮助学生用What time do you …?
I… at … (time). 描述一天中的不同时间段所做的事情,操练所学的词组。

Pre-task preparations
1. 把一个闹钟放在盒子里,让学生听声音猜迷语,引出单词clock。
T: It has two hands. One hand is long and the other hand is short. It works all day and all night. It goes “tick-tock”. And it tells us the time. What is it?21世纪教育网版权所有
接着拿出闹钟,让学生听闹钟的声音,引出 tick-tock。
2. 播放与单元话题相关的歌曲,如:
Tick-tock!

Says my grandmother’s clock.

Says my mother’s clock.
Ring-ring! Ring-ring!
Where’s my little clock!
让学生欣赏歌曲并回答问题。
T: Do you have a clock at home?

T: What sound does your clock make?

1. 用硬卡纸制作一个钟面,先让学生一起读出钟面上的数字,然后转动指针到不同的位置,说出相应的时间。21教育网

在黑板上把表示整点(one o’clock到twelve o’clock)和半点(half past one 到 half past twelve)的时间表达分两栏写出来。然后任意说出其中一个时间,请学生上来把指针转到相应的位置。21·cn·jy·com

出示几个不同时间的钟面图,用问句What time is it?进行提问,让学生快速说出时间。

依次引出并教学Look and learn的动词词组,然后让学生跟读。朗读的次数和形式要根据学生的接受能力进行调整,可以全班读,分大组读,分小组读,四人一组读,同桌一起读,单个学生读,读的时候可以加上动作以帮助理解。

3. 把挂图贴在黑板上,请个别学生扮演图中的男孩,师生根据图片进行对话。
T: What time is it?
S1: It’s six thirty. I get up at six thirty. How about you?2·1·c·n·j·y
T: I get up at seven o’clock.
然后让学生开展对子活动,通过I ... at ... (time).操练所学词组。

4. 让学生看Ask and answer的图片,回答问题。
T: What time is it?

一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
1. 通过Listen and say的情景对话,帮助学生学习一般现在时中动词第三人称单 数的用法。
2. 通过角色扮演,帮助学生初步运用核心句型描述别人一天不同时间所做的事情。
3. 通过Think and write活动,让学生进一步巩固和运用本单元核心句型。

Pre-task preparations
1. 把全班分成两个大组,快速出示Look and learn中的词组卡片和以前学过的动词词组卡片,要求学生快速反应(说出词组并做动作),说对一个得一分,说错则不得分。最后,哪个组得分最高就获胜。

2. 用两个不同人物的布偶边对话边做动作,并自问自答,让学生感受将要学习的内容。
T: (show a puppet) This is Dolly, (show another puppet) What can you do, Dolly? (act as Dolly) I can play tennis.
T: (to Dolly) What time do you play tennis, Dolly?
(act as Dolly) I play tennis at five o’clock, (to the class) What time does Dolly play tennis? She plays tennis at half past five.
While-task procedures
1. 出示Listen and say中四个时间的钟面,问学生时间,学生用It’s ... 来回答。学生在回答时反复听到问句,头脑中自有一定的印象,为后续学习打好基础。
T: What time is it?
Ss: It’s …
然后出示Listen and say的图片,发给学生练习纸,上面写有Kitty—天的活动和时间,播放Listen and say的录音,要求学生听录音,把相应的时间和活动连起来。再次播放录音,让学生核对答案。
2. 播放录音,学生根据录音模仿朗读,鼓励学生尽量模仿录音中人物的语音语调。然后出示Kitty在不同时间段的图片,让学生按照图片介绍Kitty的生活。还可以让学生用表格的形式记录Kitty—天不同的时间在做什么,然后进行介绍。
3. 请一个学生扮演Kitty,教师根据课文提问,让学生回答,然后提问,让全班学生一起回答。
T: What time do you get up, Kitty?
S1. (act as Kitty) I get up at seven o’clock.
T: What time does Kitty get up?
Ss: She gets up at seven o’clock.
之后继续提问,让学生根据自己的情况回答。

4. 学生三人一组,分别扮演妈妈、Kitty和讲述者,表演Listen and say的对话。

S3: (act as the narrator) It is seven o’clock.
Kitty gets up at seven o’clock.
S3: Now it is a quarter past seven. Kitty brushes her teeth at a quarter past seven.

S1: It’s half past seven.
S3: It is half past seven. Kitty has breakfast at half past seven.

Post-task activities
1. 鼓励学生结合自己的真实生活改编对话并表演。教师可以拓展一些单词或句子。

然后让学生完成Think and write,写几句话介绍自己的作息情况。最后,可以让学生调查一个同学的作息情况,填写调查表,并作简单的汇报。
