Pre-task preparations
播放Happy birthday这首英语歌曲,问学生这首歌是在什么时候唱的,然后大家一起唱歌。
T: Do you know this song? When do we sing it?
2. 老师在黑板上写出自己的生日。
T: This is my birthday.
然后请一名同学到黑板上写出自己的生日后说:This is my birthday.教师马上接着说:Oh, this is your birthday.21世纪教育网版权所有

1. 播放Listen and say中教师和学生唱Happy birthday的录音,让学生听后说一说是谁过生日。引出Listen and say的对话,让学生听录音。通过图片呈现单词card,让学生跟读并拼读。www.21-cn-jy.com

2.在黑板上写出句型Here’s a card for you.出示一些文具或玩具,逐一发给几个学生,一边分发一边说Here’s a/an…for you.帮助学生理解句型的含义,提示学生用Thank you.回答。【来源:21·世纪·教育·网】

然后让学生用自己的物品,和同桌一起互相“赠送物品”并模仿操练Here’s…。
3. 展示与生日有关的图片:礼物、生日派对帽子、生日卡片、面条、鸡蛋等,或展示不同学生庆祝生日的照片。告诉学生中国人过生日通常会吃面条,西方人往往吃蛋糕,还会送礼物和生日贺卡,从而引出生词cake和noodles。然后出示单词卡片,并带领学生拼读单词。可以拓展单词present(礼物)。
4. 学生想一想Alice生日那天,她的爸爸妈妈对她会说些什么,然后和两名学生进行情景对话。
T: (as Alice’s mother/father) Alice, it’s your birthday today. Here’s a present for you.

S2: (act as Alice’s father/mother) Here’s a birthday card for you.

Post-task activities
1. 小组活动。学生分为三至六人一组,仿照刚才教师示范的情景对话,进行小组活动。可以鼓励学生将以前学过的单词和句型用到情景对话中。

Pre-task preparations
利用数词卡片帮助学生复习数词1-10。
教师先在黑板上画一张男孩的脸和一个蛋糕,男孩的下方写上Ben和当天的日期。然后告诉学生Today is Ben’s birthday,再在蛋糕上画一支蜡烛,告诉学生一支蜡烛代表一岁,问:Ben, how old are you? (手指着蛋糕上的蜡烛)请一个学生扮演Ben回答:I’m one.教师说:Happy birthday to you!www.21-cn-jy.com
教师在男孩的头像上再加上些头发,同时添上一支蜡烛,请一个学生问:Ben, how old are you? 全体男生回答:I’m two tears old.教师带领全体女生说:Happy birthday to you! 然后,教师再在Ben的头像下添上上衣和一支蜡烛,请全体女生问:Ben, Ben, how old are you? 教师扮演Ben回答:I’m three years old.全体学生说:Happy birthday to you!21·世纪*教育网

2. 让学生说一说自己或同学过生日时会吃些什么食物,做些什么事情。

While-task procedures
1. 让学生看Learn the sounds。出示m (mouth)和n (nose)卡片,朗读单词,引导学生注意字母m和n在单词中的发音,让学生跟读几遍,直至他们的发音无误。
T: (show the flashcard for mouth) M, /m/, mouth.
Ss: M, /m/, mouth.
播放Learn the sounds的儿歌,让学生一边带有m和n的单词,朗读这些单词。同时也可以让学生说出其他含有字母m, n的单词21教育网
2. 让学生用其他名词代替Learn the sounds中的robot,其他部分作相应变动,如:

3. 播放Say and act的录音,让学生跟录音朗读课文。然后请个别学生上台根据录音内容扮演Alice、Alice的妈妈和爸爸进行对话。在黑板上写出句型Here are some noodles.让学生进行替换操练。也可以提供一些实物(或印有不同数量的物品的图片),让学生通过操练体会Here’s… for you.和Here are… for you.的区别。
