It’s an early morning on Saturday. The Brown family are tidying up their home. Sally is helping to tidy up Peter and Paul’s bedroom. Mum and Dad are tidying up the livingroom.
Mum: It’s a little messy in the livingroom. Let’s tidy it up.
Dad: Sure! There’s an umbrella on the table. Whose umbrella is it? Is it yours, Mum?
Mum: No. It is Sally’s. My umbrella is red. Hers is pink.
Dad: I see. I’ll put it in her bag.
Mum: Here’s a football under the chair. Whose football is it?
Dad: Maybe it is Peter and Paul’s. They like playing football. And theirs is blue.
Mum: Look at the table. There are some crayons on it. Are they Peter’s?
Dad: Peter doesn’t like drawing or painting. Maybe they are Paul’s.
Mum: Peter and Paul, could you come here for a minute?
Peter & Paul: OK, Mum. What’s the matter?
Mum: Is this blue football yours?
Peter & Paul: Yes, it is our football.
Mum: Whose crayons are those?
Peter: They’re his, Paul’s.
Mum: All right. Please put them away. The football should go in the toy box. The crayons should go in the pencilcase and then in the school bag.
Peter & Paul: OK, Mum.
Mum: Now, our living room is tidy.
