一、热身及复习
复习已学过的一些蔬菜、水果的名称及复数形式，然后出示图片，问What are these？Are they…？注意纠正名词的单复数形式。

1．教师出示胡萝卜的图片，问学生：What are they？学生回答：They are“胡萝卜”。教师接着自问自答：What are these？They are carrots.教读单词these，carrots，并板书，让学生认读。
2．教师出示西红柿的图片，教师问学生：Are these carrots？学生回答：No.教师回答：Good.These are tomatoes.教读单词tomatoes，强调其复数形式，并板书，让学生认读。
3．教师出示西红柿、胡萝卜的图片，反复问学生：What are these？Are these tomatoes/carrots?
学生用Yes，they are.No，they aren't.回答，训练学生的口语和对单词的掌握程度。
4．把图片分发给学生，让他们分组提问：What are these？Are these tomatoes/carrots？教师给予指导和协助。
5．让学生听A.Let's talk的录音，跟读课文。

1．抢读单词。
把老师的单词卡和学生的单词卡集中在一起，看图或汉语快速说英语，最先说对的得分，得分最高者胜出。
2．集中所有的可数名词单词卡再加it，this，每人抓五张，迅速说出每张图的单数和复数形式，说错的受罚，将说错的单词写在黑板上。

1．教师拿出几个西红柿，问：What are these？Are these tomatoes？让学生回答：They are…Yes，they are./No，they aren't.
2．教师出示豆角，问：What are these？学生回答：豆角！教师问：Are they long？学生回答：Yes，they are.板书green beans，并领读。引出句子The green beans are long.并领读。
3．教师出示土豆，问：What are these？学生回答：土豆！教师问：Are they big？学生回答：Yes，they are.板书potato，强调它的复数是potatoes并领读。引出句子The potatoes are big.并领读。
4．教师做动作(用刀切一些东西，切一会，就辣眼睛，擦眼泪)，让学生猜老师切的是什么。
问：What are they？Can you guess？学生积极回答：……。教师给予肯定：Yes，you are clever.They are onions.(拿出洋葱)板书onions，并领读。引出句子：The onions make me cry.
5．做猜一猜的游戏。教师把东西藏在身后，让学生用句型：Are these/they…？问，教师回答：Yes，they are./No，they aren't.这不但提高了学生的口语表达能力，而且巩固了所学单词和句型。
6．听录音跟读Let's learn中的词汇：tomatoes，green beans，carrots，potatoes.
7．出示单词卡tomatoes，green beans，carrots和potatoes，引导学生给每样蔬菜一个形容词，练习句型：
Look at the green beans.They're so long.
Look at the carrots.They're so sweet.
Loot at the tomatoes.They're so round.
Look at the potatoes.They're so big.
8．利用单词卡onions，教读make me cry，模仿录音，随着节律练说chant.
四、趣味操练
1．猜袋中物。
教师从书包中拿出一件东西放入一只不透明的袋子里，由每组的第一名学生轮流猜，可以问：“Are these/they tomatoes？”猜对为胜。
2．看图猜词。
以每一纵行为一组进行竞赛，教师先出示一些单词的图片，然后收起来，再从中抽出一张放在身后，由每组的第一名学生轮流猜，可以问：“Are these books(green beans，tomatoes)？”教师回答：Yes，they are.或No，they aren't.等。哪个组猜对了就给记10分，然后接着往下猜，第一排的学生猜过后第二排接着猜，最后得分最多的组为优胜。做游戏时，还可以找一位学生来主持，由他让学生们猜。

复习句型：What are those？Are they long?
教师把单词卡片藏在身后让学生用句型猜，先由教师示范，然后在小组中进行。利用学生的单词卡，直接复习句型What are these？They are….Are they…？Yes.they are.
二、导入
利用本节课的单词卡和句型what are these?
教授单词horse—horses，sheep—sheep，hen—hens，
duck—ducks.
三、新课呈现
1．教师出示Let's talk的课件(教材配套)，提问“What can you see in the picture？”鼓励学生们积极发言，尽量多说。
2．学生会说到horse，sheep，hen甚至duck等词。如果学生说出本课的生词，教师要特别鼓励，并反复地读几遍，加深学生的印象。
3．利用我们学过的名词，同桌之间问：What are those？They are…巩固学习horses，hens，ducks，sheep.
4．教师利用图片问：What are these？然后引导学生说：它们是动物animals；学生跟读They are animals.并渗透学生：I love animals.They are my friends.
5．教师拿出4张单词卡片，问：How many cards？引导学生答：Four.看图并问：How many hens can you see？学生数后找同学答：I can see five.注意how many是对数词提问，后接可数名词复数形式。跟读How many horses do you have？并找同学说出汉语意思。
6．教师讲解a lot of，how many和what about…，those.
7．让学生听录音，跟读Let's talk。然后找同学读课文，并在班级表演对话。

教读各种动物的发声词，引导学生模仿动物的各种发声，叫一组同学到前面模仿动作发声，其他同学猜What are those？Are they horses/…？Yes，they are./No，they aren't.老师监督小组活动并做出适当的评价。
四、趣味操练
1．分角色表演Let's talk中的对话，评出优胜组。
2．我家的小农场。
学生以小组(4人组)为单位，每小组准备一张纸，教师用英语描述一幅图画(如：On my farm I have four hens，two horses，one dog，a cow and three pigs.I have some green beans，tomatoes，potatoes…)学生把听到的画在这张纸上。然后让同学互相评价，看谁设计得美观大方，老师给予鼓励。这不但巩固了所学单词，而且提高了学生的听力。

1．利用图片教读单词sheep，cow。教师拿出一只绵羊的图片，问：What's this？并自己说：It's a sheep.然后问：What are these？也许学生会答错，老师纠正：They are sheep.强调sheep的复数形式和原形一样。要求学生记住。
2．教师利用课本Let's learn的图片和同学一起问答：What are these/…？Are these hens/…？Yes，they are./No，they aren't.并通过复习句型：How many sheep can you see？来进一步复习名词复数形式。
3．找几组学生到前面来，多次谈论cows，hens，horses，利用图片和句型问自己的伙伴。
4．引导学生给每一种动物一个合适的形容词，教师可展示一些储备词汇，如：big，tall，small，cute，white，black，orange，green，red等。
5．学生二人组竞赛对话。

They are sheep.They are white and cute.教师督促辅导，评出最优秀的小组。
6．学生拿出画笔，用不同颜色和形体的动物装点自己的农场，用Are these…？Yes，they are.
7．Let's spell.听读单词horse，fork，homework，world map，引导学生归纳出字母组合or的发音规律，or在horse和fork中发/?/，在homework和world中发/?/，即在字母W后发/?/。
8．听并跟读chant，进一步练习or的发音，复习更多的含or的单词。

2．看谁的词汇量大
老师说一个句子，同学按排(分组)逐一往下补充。规定时间内完成句子扩充，完不成的，本组同学不加分，每完成一个正确的句子，本组加5分。看哪一组得分最高。最高的老师给予奖励。
