1. 表示能力时
变否定句直接在can后加上not即可。can与not可缩写成can’t或cannot。

变一般疑问句时,把can直接移到主语前即可。

→Can you see a computer on the table?
注意:
如果主语是第一人称,变疑问句时通常要改为第二人称。肯定回答用“Yes, 主语+ can.”;否定回答用“No, 主语+ can’t.”。2. 表示请求或允许时,在口语中常用OK,sure或certainly等作肯定回答;用sorry等作否定回答。
