The Tangshan earthquake was a very very big earthquake that happened 41 years ago. It was one of the worst earthquake disasters of the twentieth Century. It happened on 28th July 1976. The great earthquake caused Tangshan, an industrial town with a population of millions, to be wiped out, instantly razed to the ground.
