教材分析
教材的地位和作用
本节课的内容是新目标英语九年级教材。本单元的语言目标是谈论怎样学习,即:talk about how to study.本单元的话题对于学生来说非常实用,这也是他们感兴趣的话题之一,也就激发了学生对学习英语的兴趣。在本单元这个大的语言目标的环境下,本节课所学的内容.也是本单元的重点内容之一。因此,本节课要向学生展示新的语言目标,并着重训练学生在阅读方面的能力,提高他们的听说能力。
(二)教学目标
1.知识目标
学习使用与“Talk about how to study”话题相关的词汇,如pronounce,increase, practice speaking, join an English club等。
能够运用扫读和思维导图的阅读策略,完成相应的阅读任务,基本理解文章大意。
2.能力目标 运用句式用英语谈论学习方法。3.情感目标 给学生树立自信,让他们勇于开口说英语,找到适合他们自己的学习方法。(三)教学重点本节课的教学重点是让学生掌握并且能够准确的使用重点词汇及短语,学会阅读的基本技巧。(四)教学难点根据学生的知识能力水平及对过去学过知识的掌握程度来看本节课的难点在于一些从句的讲解以及对于难句的理解。
二、学情分析
根据上学期英语成绩来看,英语成绩参差不齐,部分学生基础较薄弱。但是从我上课的这段时间来看,学生的课堂积极性较高,回答问题积极,课堂活跃。绝大部分同学能够做到自觉完成作业,他们对知识的渴求是值得表扬的。因此,对于基础较薄弱的同学,我会利用课余的时间给他们讲解基础性的语言知识,让他们能够把之前不懂的地方弄懂。九年级是关键性的一年,学生们有着一定的压力。因此,应该做到在传授知识的同时,也要和学生作适当的交流与沟通。掌握他们的心理特点,更有利于教学。
三、教学方法与学法
1.对于教学方法:采用任务型教学与情景教学法相结合,创设良好的氛围,激发学生的兴趣。在课堂上,讲究讲与练的结合。只有在不断的练习中才能发现错误,以帮助学生获得直观的印象,以便他们在短时间内记住重点句型。同时,在讲解阅读中,利用思维导图让学生总体掌握阅读的重点内容,甚至把阅读内容再现或复述下来。
2.对于学生的学法:在学习的过程中,给学生提供更多的语言知识小组活动练习。因为活动练习是学生掌握语言知识的重要方法之一。
四、教学设计与设计理念
确定了本节课在本单元的地位、作用及学习目标后,我将本节课大致分成六个环节:(一) 预习检查 (二)课前热身(三)任务型阅读(四) 小组交流学习 (五) 课堂小结 (六) 布置作业?这六个环节是根据学习阅读理解的方法与技巧进行设置的,并按照学生所熟悉的教学方式,着重于句段篇章的理解,从而提高学生的阅读理解能力。本节课的讲解主要以任务教学法为主,以学生为学习主体,以任务为中心。学生只有在不断的练习与实践中,才能发现存在的错误,从而通过改正加深对知识点的理解与掌握。
五、教学过程
第一步:预习检查。检查学生的预习作业
第二步:课前热身,自由 讨论。第三步:和学生一起细读短文并讲解语言知识点。其中包括重点词汇短语,重点句型与语法等。在讲解短文时,要求学生积极参与小组活动,积极回答问题等。以培养他们在做中学习的习惯。
第四步:小组就知识难点进行讨论,合作学习。第五步:课堂小结。在本节课快要结束的时候,用五分钟的时间来回 顾本节课所学的内容。这样便加深了学生对所学知识的记忆与理解。?第六步:课后作业。作业的安排与布置是为了让学生能够复习所学的 语言知识点,只有进行课后巩固复习,才能更好的掌握所学知识。

Studies show that if you are interested in something, your brain is more active and it is also easier for you to pay attention to it for a long time. Good learners often connect what they need to learn with something they are interested in. For example, if they need to learn English and they like music or sports, they can listen to English songs or watch sports programs in English. This way they will not get bored.
Practicing and learning from mistakes.
Good learners think about what they are good at and what they need to practice more. Remember, “use it or lose it”! Even if you learn something well, you will forget it unless you use it. Practice makes perfect. Good learners are also not afraid of making mistakes. Alexander Graham Bell did not invent the telephone overnight. He succeeded by trying many times and learning from his mistakes.
Developing their study skills
It is not enough to just study hard. You have to know how to study. Good learners find out the best ways to learn well. For example, they may take notes by writing down key words or by drawing mind maps. Good learners also look for ways to review what they have learned. They may do this by reading their notes every day or by explaining the information to another student. Asking questions
Good learners often ask questions during or after class. They even ask each other and try to find out the answers. Knowledge comes from questioning. Learning is a life-long journey because every day brings something new. Everything that you learn becomes a part of you and changes you, so learn wisely and learn well.2c.Read the passage again and answer the question.
