even if (=even though)意为“即使, 纵然”,引导
让步状语从句。注意even if 引导的从句是往往是假设性的,相当于汉语的“即使”“纵然”“就算”“哪怕”。even though 引导的从句内容往往是真实的, 主要用于引出不利用于主句情况的信息,相当于汉语的“尽管”“虽然”。

fetch 作动词,意为“(去)拿来”。

bring “带来;拿来”,指拿到或带到说话人所在的地方。
eg: Please bring me my pen. 请把钢笔给我拿来。
carry “搬;扛;提”,表示携带的动作,不说明方向。
eg: The young man helped the old man carry the box. 那位年轻人帮老人搬箱子。
