1.Discussion:Recall the map of the world you have learned in your geography class.Please list as many countries as possible and tell the others what the people in these countries do when they meet for the first time.Have a discussion in groups.
2.Work on 1a:
What do people do when they meet for he first time? Match the countries with the customs.
3.Work on 1b:Listen and check your answers in 1a.
4.Work on 1c:
Pairwork:Make conversations about what people in different countries do when they meet for the first time.
做法:The 1st pair act as Koreans,the 2nd pair act as Americans,and the 3rd pair talk about what people in different countries do when they meet for the first time.

While listening
