What’s that S1: It’s a monkey.T: Look at the monkey. It’s…教师用手势引导学生说出small。panda区域教学Look at that panda! It’s fat.通过对比教学fat和thin。教学单词：giraffeT：Today we have a new friend. Look! What’s that 引出单词后，升降调教学，单词较难发音，再通过大小声的游戏进行操练。教学：Look at that giraffe. It’s tall.教师走到稍远处，用手遥指长颈鹿，强调that，并用手势做出体型高，引导学生说出tall及short。以课本情境图为载体教学对话。教学第一幅情境图。学生看图，自由输出语言T： Many animals are a ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )t the zoo. Miss white, Zhang Peng and Amy are at the zoo, too. Guess! What are they talking about 先让学生猜一猜自由输出，再播放听力，让学生听读。教学第二幅情境图。引导学生观察另一只长颈鹿。T：Look at that giraffe, what’s wrong PPT出现一直bear。S1: Oh, it’s zoom.T: Yes, Zoom is a bear. Look at that bear. It’s….教师边做动作边引导学生说出形容词。 学生以参观动物园的形式，进行相关动物和形容词单词的复习。学生学习新词。充分给予学生自由表达的机会，让学生猜一猜他们之间可能会说的内容。学生观察另一只长颈鹿及旁边的问号，引出bear。 呈现主情境图，带领学生参观动物园。给学生整体的概念。giraffe的发音较难，设计了大小声的游戏，在游戏中巩固发音，对学生来说，更容易激发兴趣。有了前面的铺垫和输入，学生看到这副情境图的时候，会自然而然进行look at…It’s…地输出。为后面的情感教育做了铺垫。
巩固操练 观看课文视频，听读对话。Let’s act.Draw and say.动物园导游：Be a guide。学生看图，做小导游，介绍动物园里的动物。德育渗透，PPT出示情景图中的动物园警示语。告诫学生在动物园时不要随意喂动物，要保持一定的安全距离。 学生认真地进行听读表演。自由地编对话。 学生介绍完毕后，星级评价也相应跟上。鼓励学生多多把握锻炼口语的机会。
课堂小结 本节课，充分利用教材单元情境图进行教学。从整体入手挖掘单元教学所应该指向的教学目标。
