教学背景分析 教材内容 本模块的第一单元由贝蒂和玲玲要去滑冰引出了谈论天气的对话，借助这样一个常见的场景，轻松的导入了谈论天气的习惯表达和表示可能性的词汇和句型。
学情分析 在本课中，温度的表达以及运用might/may/probably对天气进行猜测，属于新知和重点内容，需要教师通过创造情境，并以活动为载体，将词汇与句型融会贯通。八年级的学生在英语学习上开始出现两极分化，因而教师需要特别注意课堂的趣味性，同时兼顾扎实训练，缓解两极分化的情况。
教学目标 语言知识目标：词汇：能够背诵并运用cloud，snow, storm, cloudy, rainy, snowy, sunny, windy, skate, thick, ice, joke, might, temperature, degree, although, wet, neither, terrible, wish, probably, 语法： 能够正确运用表示可能性的单词和句型：might/may do sth; It is probably...语言技能目标：听：能够对照天气示意图，听懂天气预报；说：能够谈论、描述天气情况。情感态度目标：通过对天气这个话题的探讨，培养学习地理知识的愿望和兴趣。学习策略目标：学会合作学习及自主学习文化意识：了解世界各地的天气情况。
