Modern life is important without travelling. The fastest way of traveling is by plane. With a modern airliner(客机) it takes one day to travel to places which took a month or more to get to a hundred years ago.

Martha started school just last month. The school was a few kilometers from her house. Both her parents were busy and couldn't drive her to school. Every day at 7:30 she took a school bus there. The bus went around to pick up students every morning and brought them back home every afternoon.
