本单元教材以“谈论问题及给出建议”为中心话题,围绕着“为什么不……”进行学习和运用几个常见的句型: Why don't you talk to your parents?/ My parents don't allow me to hang out with my friends./ You should call him so that you can say you're sorry./ My problem is that I can't get on with my family./Why don't you sit down and communicate with your brother?等。Section A 主要学习allow sb.to do sth.,work out,get on with,argue with,communicate with等几个常见的动词短语及给出建议的句型。应掌握句型:Why don't you talk to your parents?/ My parents don't allow me to hang out with my friends./ You should call him so that you can say you're sorry.等。Section A 3a通过杂志专栏上的读者来信及回复来介绍了一个孩子的问题及针对其问题所给出的建议,增加了学生的阅读量。Section B 安排了听、说、读、写的任务,教师在教学中应合理利用课本上的知识进行教学。通过一篇短文“Maybe You Should Learn to Relax! ”,对学生进行阅读技巧的指导。
