Little Leo liked drawing very much. His friends all liked his pictures.“You’re going to be an artist,Leo,”they always said.
Little Leo took drawing lessons.In the first lesson,the teacher put an egg on the table and asked Little Leo to draw it.“That’s easy!”said Little Leo.

通过看图激发学生对美术作品的鉴赏能力,让学生用学过的语言去描述两幅美术作品,为后面的表达做热身。
由观视频到精读课文,让学生用最直观的方式学习关键词句。通过细节的描述,让学生从Free talk进一步学会表达描述作品。
用游戏的方式使学生得到操练,利用手边的文具等,运用Put your on the left/right.体验熟能生巧的乐趣。
以小组读的方式,最终确认小组内的每个成员都是否能够熟读课文,再通过组内成员互相学习的方式,熟练掌握课文。

教学后记:
根据《小学英语新课程标准》,结合美术馆中的中外作品让学生进行描述以及表达自己的喜好,本单元的三个课时的教学任务顺利完成,基本达到预定教学目标。但是,成功与失败,还是得仔细分析和反思的:
成功之处:
一、由浅入深,过渡自然。
在教授故事Art这个单元时,我采用了情景教学法。这三个课时首先根据Kitty 和Joe在课上谈论艺术博物馆的两幅画作为开篇,用简单的Which picture do you like?Why?让孩子们初步感知中国水墨画与国外的油画的美。接着在第二课时利用Kitty和 Joe在博物馆看到的多姿多彩的化作,从而激发孩子们的想象,找到自己喜欢的画并进行谈论,并在这个环节适当的对孩子们进行书写的训练。最后一个课时根据Kitty 和Joe 在博物馆中看到的一个关于达芬奇的影片,从而进入对Little Leo’s lessons的学习。从而让学生领悟到贵在坚持以及熟能生巧的真谛。
二、理解文化差异,提高鉴赏美的能力。
从激发学生对美术作品的兴趣到认识分辨美术作品,再从描述自己喜爱的作品到认识中外著名画家,给予学生较大的输入量以及综合运用语言的空间。在通过展示、对比中外作品的同时,让学生感受到中外作品的差异,通过巩固运用句型,让学生在熟练表达的基础上凸显出个人对美的鉴赏能力。
三、作文指导初见成效。
小学六年级的学生应该具有一定的书面写作的能力,这节课的主题My favourite painting正好适合进行比较型作文的写作指导。我在指导过程中用了先出示老师的范例,请学生阅读;接着采用帮扶放的形式,让学生在模仿中理清老师指导写作的思路;然后请学生尝试动手实践这样循序渐进的过程。从学生课堂的习作来看,作文知道已经初见成效。
不足之处:
一、教学时教学侧重点把握不准。
在以前的教材中,每个单元的前面都会有重点句型的提示,然而这个学期的书没有任何的重难点要求。但是由于惯性思维,我们会侧重点于一般过去时的教授,而忽视了对孩子们鉴赏能力的而培养以及情感态度价值观的培养。
二、输入与输出的局限性。
在本单元的输入语言中,油画作品和国画作品的特点的输入语言不多,导致学生输出的形式较为单一,colourful既可以用在油画作品上也可以用在某些国画作品上。在描述作品的时候,应该让学生有更多的机会去描述——为了能够做到有话可说,务必让学生多搜集美术作品,多进行运用输出。
三、写作部分,由于是把介绍穿插在画作欣赏中进行,所以我准备了大量画作,在实际授课过程中如果没有主次,很容易压缩学生尝试写作的时间,写作流于形式。
