until : 用在否定句中,构成not…until “直到…才…”
【注意】若主句是一般将来时，until从句要用一般现在时表示将来。

They didn’t leave until they finished the work.
---直到我妈妈回来，我才去睡觉。
I didn’t go to bed until my mother came back.meeting until可以与before/after 引导的从句互相转换。
We didn’t get home until 10 o’clock last night.
=We got home after 10 o’clock last night.
They didn’t go home until they finished the cleaning.
=They went home after they finished the cleaning. until : 用在肯定句中，“到……为止……”
主句中的谓语动词必须是延续性动词，表示这一动作或状态持续到until 所表示的时间为止。
---他一直在办公室工作，直到清洁工进来。
He worked in the office until the cleaner came in.
---这个人婴儿昨晚一直到12点钟才醒。
The baby slept until 12 o’clock last night.
---我一直呆在这儿直到他回来。
