《LESSON 3》教学设计
The main topic in this lesson is knowing numbers 5and 6, understanding how to use picking up sticks and using chopsticks in real life.
【知识目标】
Be able to understand, speak and read words: five six stick chopsticks.
Be able to understand, speak phrase: pick up sticks, use chopsticks.
Be able to understand, speak sentence: How many sticks do you have I have two sticks.
【能力目标】
Learn about the expression of Numbers and use them.
Learn how to use sentences to ask for quantity.

Enjoy the fun of learning English.

Sentence: How many sticks do you have I have two sticks.

The pronunciation of five six stick chopsticks.

Step 1: Warm-up
The teacher and students greet each other in English.
By presenting the number of different objects in PPT, students answer the questions and be given encouragement.
Step 2: Presentation
Lead-in
The teacher held the prepared teaching tools: digital cards, six sticks, chopsticks, one by one, to the students and asked the students.
The stick shows from one to four, asking the students to speak the corresponding English number.
When increasing to five or six, teacher should enlighten the student and leave suspense, arouse the student's curiosity.
Look, listen and say
（1）Display the digital five, six through the PPT and combine the digital card to read .
（2）Display the stick by PPT and learn sticks with Numbers.
（3）Display the chopstick by PPT, then repeat the pronunciation.
Do it
Show picking up sticks by using vivid pictures and action.
Teacher uses props chopsticks to display using chopsticks, read first and students repeat after, which helps students learn pronunciation.
Come and play
Consolidate knowledge through games. Design four listening commands and two pairs of students. Student A chooses the serial number, the teacher plays the password and student B completes the action as required.
Listen and check
According to the textbook exercise, teacher plays the recording, and students finish.
Present the correct answer through PPT.
And then teacher replays the tape, students read follow her.
Ask and answer
（1）The teacher shows how to ask and answer question “How many sticks do you have ” by props.
For example: The teacher asks “How many sticks do you have ”, with a stick in hand .
Students answer :I have one stick.
The teacher asks “How many sticks do you have ”, with two sticks in hand .
Students answer: I have two sticks
（2）Practice the sentences in numerical order and combine them with the PPT.
Come and play
Students carry out dialogues according to the drawing that they randomly select through PPT.
Let’s say it
Firstly, students listen to the tape and read the sentences.
Then ,teacher and student summarize the teaching focus of this class together , students talk about what they have learned firstly, then the teacher make a summary.

Step3: Homework
Read numbers 1 to 6 to your father and mother three times.
