半元音/j/的发音方法
1、舌前部向硬腭尽量抬起，不要抵住硬腭
2、双唇向两旁伸展成扁平形
3、同时声带需震动
4、一经发出后舌头和双唇立刻向后面的元音滑动。
5、/j/是个半元音，发音时口型和元音/i /有点相似，但它仍是个辅音，元音可以单独成音可以延长，半元音不可以单独成音不可以延长。

清辅音/h/的发音方法
1、让气流自由逸出口腔，不受阻碍
2、只在通过声门时形成轻微的摩擦，舌头和嘴唇的位置随其后的元音而变化
3、发音时，声带不震动。

舌边音/r/的发音方法
1、舌尖卷起，靠近上齿龈后部
2、舌两侧贴住上齿龈两侧
3、嘴唇张开并略收圆
4、发音时声带震动。
5、有些学生会把汉语中的声母r的发音来代替/r/的发音，于是把rose读成"肉丝"，把road读成"肉的"，但实际上两者有很大的差别。
