at the age of 在某人……岁时,后跟年龄数,相当于when引导的时间状语从句,即: when one was ….years old.

这是由that引导的定语从句。什么是定语从句?就是:修饰前面某一名词或代词的从句叫定语从句。
结构: 先行词 + 关系词 + 句子。
连接词:指物:that,which;指人:who, that, whom(宾格);
注意:不论先行词是人还是物,在定语从句中做宾语时,引导词可以省略。
