绝大多数英国人信奉基督教,只有北爱尔兰地区的一部分居民信奉天主教。
British etiquette
Warming-up
英国人崇尚绅士风度和淑女风范,讲究女士优先。在日常生活中,英国人注意仪表,讲究穿着。男士外出进行社交活动,都要穿深色的西服,但忌戴条纹的领带。女士则习惯穿连衣裙。
英国人见面行握手礼。切勿与英国人交叉握手,因为那样会构成晦气的十字架形状,也避免交叉干杯。
在商务谈判中,英国人说话、办事,都喜欢讲传统,重程序,十分看重谈判对手的身份、风度和修养。
英国人同别人谈话时,不喜欢距离过近,一般保持50厘米以上为宜。
英国人送礼一般送价钱不贵但有纪念意义的物品,高级巧克力、名酒和鲜花等都是英国人的最爱之物。
英国人不喜欢墨绿色,很忌讳黑猫,若有黑猫从面前经过,就认为预示这个人要遭到不幸。
